Thread: What did you do to your B6 Passat today????

    1. 10-28-2010 09:36 AM #151
Installed my Sunroof Visor and Rear Window Shade, both from ECS (thanks!!)

Also installed a new parking brake switch, as my old one was peeled off almost completely. Still have all the lock/unlock switches to replace, just need to get time to pull all the door panels.

I'm a bit late on posting this, but on 10/25/2010, I ordered my new tires and OEM TPMS and had them shipped to the wheel vendor that I'm buying my new wheels from.

      - 225/35ZR19 Continental ExtremeContact DWS
      - OEM AUDI/VW TPMS
      - Shipped to undisclosed wheel vendor to be mounted on new 19x8.5" ET38 wheels

New setup should arrive next week!

Finally got the DG springs installed. Brake flush and rear rotors/pads. And APR ecu flash trial loaded! Wow! Never thought a program could unlock that much potential from the motor.

to the guys at eurocode for their great work!

      Pics of drop! Now!

Did you do the flush yourself? I do my own maintenance but have never tackled brakes or brake fluid flushing.

Ah yes, something I definitley want to do - it gives the interior such a premium feel over the "Pemium 7" line of head units.

Where did you buy it? How much? Are you going to install it yourself (run the satellite antenna from the trunk up to the head unit)? Please post pics and a DIY when you do!

Bought it here on Vortex over in the Golf VI/Jetta VI parts classified for $450, and yes I will do the install myself. Need to get the antenna adapter & sat cable extention ordered so hopefully be able to do the swap next weekend.

Fingers are crossed I'm one of the lucky ones that is able to avoid the battery drain issue.

Got a new tire put on after my blow out a couple weeks ago, and last night put some rear rotors and pads on. No more squealing.

Just got the plain for the rears, but I did get slotted for my fronts. I'm gonna wait until they wear down more before I change them. I have a lot of pad left still.
