Thought i'd start my own build thread.

Bought this car about 4 years ago to have as a daily driver as my project car was a nissan/datsun s12 that was built for drifting. Ended up blowing up the s12 and didnt have alot of time for a project of that magnitude because of school so I scrapped the car. The a4 didnt stay as just a daily for much longer however.

    In its stock glory...

Picked up some KW coilovers a bit later. Parked in the snow. It was a huge snow storm that year in Seattle.

    DSCN0643

Later, received some 18x8 RS4 reps with 225/40's which were way too big and rubbed like hell. Ended up having to roll the fenders and the car wasnt even that low.

    IMG_0091

Then this happened after letting my mother drive the car for a couple days.

    IMG_0338

looks worse then it was too. Core support was cracked in half and pushed back into the engine, fender was caved in, etc, etc. Took the opportunity to replace a bunch of other stuff while I had the core support off

    IMG_0326

After that, I picked up a Reiger RS4 bumper and carbon fiber hood to replace the damaged parts, which in my opinion was a bad choice and ugly as piss. Ended up eventually selling the Reiger bumper and went back to stock.

blah blah blah, alot of time went by, went through many different sets of wheels that I didnt like and this is what she looks like currently. I still want to work some more on the stance.

This was my attempt at a photoshoot with my ****ty canon camera...

    My current mods are:

    KW coilovers variant 1's
    APR cat back exhaust
    APR chip tune
    Forge 007 dv
    clutch fan delete
    18x8.5 front 215/40
    18x9.5 rear 225/40
Just about brand new everything since its an Audi and something is always broken
    FMIC
    Misc. gauges
    custom intake
S4 sideskirts (should hopefully go on within the next week)
    Devils Own meth kit

    IMG_1394

I will update this as more things happen. Probably going to ditch the carbon fiber hood here soon. Want to find a nice set of cream or peanut butter leather seats as there isnt much going on in the interior at the moment..

Looks awesome, what wheels are they? They look similar to M3 CSL wheels.

They are Miro 111 wheels. Not bad wheels except for the center caps they come with. Im running 10mm spacers in the rear. May try to bump it up to 15 in the rear and throw on some 10's or 8's in the front. I'll probably only roll with these for a year and go to something different. I get bored really quick. This is what I was running before.

Trying to find a nice day to work on the car to throw the S4 skirts but its a torrential downpour today. Hopefully Sunday I will. Need to order a bunch of other little odds and ends for the car this week...

Nice car man, your local too. whats the offset of the wheels? you should be able to get away with 15mm in the rear, and maybe a 5 in the front as long as your fenders are rolled. Im running 15mm's in the rear and im equally low(225/40, on a 9.5" alphard)

The offset in the rear is 40 with 10mm spacers. Fronts are rolled and rears are not, however I own an Eastwood fender roller so I plan to soon.

I will take some better pics with a better camera in the next couple weeks here...

Got the S4 skirts on last week and ordered some other goodies. 20mm H&R spacers for the rear and i'll move the 10's to the front. Need to go lower in the front as well. The KW coils in the back can only go about another 1/2 lower which is fine with the 225's I have sitting there.

You might try a tripod and set a timer.

in the last pic your rear bumper looks almost like a Euro S4 bumper.....looks chunky...i guess it's one of the illusions of black blending in with the lower valence....I really love your car man....looks proper! congrats

Finally took some time between the rainfall, work, and school to test fit the 20mm spacers.

    IMAG0065

    IMAG0063

I also dialed in the suspension some more so that the front sits at 23 GTF and then while backing out of my moms relatively flat driveway, scooped a bunch of gravel up into the valance and snapped the bumper out of the side brackets. I really wonder how some of you guys roll around daily sitting in the 22 zone. Need a Dieselgeek skid plate bad!

Ordered a couple other goodies like chrome mirrors, sweet euro plate and an 034 coilpack cover which i soon found out doesnt fit on earlier AEB valve covers. Oops.

Though, here is the big thing, my k03 needs to be replaced and the motor has 130,000 miles on it and im debating on whether or not its worth it to upgrade to a k04 or just replace it with another k03.

    Opinions?

What problems are you having that it doesnt fit? I got one for my 98 AEB and the bolt mount closest to the front of the car had to be cut down some for it to fit.

you shouldnt worry about mileage, just do a compression test and see if all is good
my car has 180,000 on it and im pushing over 300 to the wheels with no issues
