The casino is up and running so I would think that by the time September comes Ocean City should be pretty well accomidated to it... They will also have dealt with all the summer vacationers and such....

I think it may cut into the cruising scene on the strip a bit and the OC police may have a few more in #'s to handle us this time around....

Good news is that you can roll the dice (pun intended) at the casino to pay for some parts at the show

I think its pretty safe to say that its going to be the last weekend in sept. It would be nice to have the confirmed dates way ahead of time tho.

yea i assumed it would be the last weekend in sept as usual but you never know. there could be some event at the casino that same weekend or something conflicting with the show.

ive just been checking out condos and a lot of the more desirable ones are already booked for sept 22-26 so i just dont want to miss out on a nice place because the original condo i had in mind is already booked

cant wait for the best vacation week of the year hands down!

Hopefully something gets worked out this year with the convention center since there was talk about having to pay to park there. Also up from there in that big parking area with the shops. It would be nice to have a large area to go hang out with out having problems with the cops.

45th street has always been friendly toward us, and if the Convention Center gets shut down, there are plenty of other spots up and down the strip as large we can go to. At the muscle car shows, a lot of people go to Hooter's, or one of the grocery store lots up at 100 street and beyond.

Exactly, it's a long, straight highway running the length of Ocean City

Truth. Honestly, the strip and various g2gs up and down it make the show, much more so than the happenings at the race track, in my opinion anyway

Just be prepared to have a good time. Cars, GTG's, beach, booze, and food. And then there is a car show.

My advice (last year was my first year going)

Again, there by Wednesday. Hit up at least 3 GTG if you can, cruise the strip, check out Secrets (bar), Get to "Air Affair" early before the 5-0 show, and check out the boardwalk for a bit.

Outside of the show this is a pretty good list of things to do!
