Finding stuff is fine - the tools become a pain unless someone gives you (or you build) diamond tools which can last for quite some time...I built a underground tunnel all the way back home, but its stuck under water right now, so I'm trying to figure out where it is...

That's really how I feel about it as well. It will take a lot away from the game. The cool thing about wrappers I guess, is that you can enable or disable all those things. I really like the permission levels that are available in most wrappers. As this server gets more players, I wouldn't mind appointing a few "moderators" who would have the ability to have some of my power like giving players water, lava, gunpowder, and other things that you currently can't obtain "legitimately" in the MP server.

BTW: As far as voting... This certainly isn't a Communist server. I'll do whatever the majority of players in the server want to do.

I had my first real issues today - large craters kept exploding near my house - ruining towers, trees, etc...so I just quit out without putting up with it. Angered me to no end.

This is due to creepers. Its up to you guys to decide if you want me to keep or remove monsters from the server.

They drop things... I think spiders drop string (or silk, whatever...), creepers drop gunpowder (+ sand = TNT), and zombies drop... well, I found some feathers after killing two, but that might be because the bigass fire I started to do so took out a chicken as well...

That tunnel goes somewhere? I was down there forever, but gave up and did a /home.

Yes, it does. If you look back a page or two, you'll see a picture of where it takes you.

BTW, who built that Helms Deep looking place way out in the middle of nowhere? I was out exploring on my boat and stumbled upon it. Pretty sweet.

2 things i want in the game: 1, arrows should make TNT explode, or at least countdown. 2, let me lay down gunpowder like redstone powder so you can make chains of tnt.

I think down the road they should have firearms, like flintlock rifles. and also the ability to craft parts to make machinery... Like tunnel Borers/drills, conveyor belts... Steam engines, to put on carts, boats, and other vehicles(trains, cars). maybe even some sort of ultralight aircraft.

Obviously with the shear size of the world, we need mapping tools, as well as motorized vehicles. As the game becomes more stable, I'd hope they would add such things.

I really want to be able to make siege weapons. i think it would be hilarious and awesome to build castles to attack and defend with catapults, trebuchet, and battering rams, all with an army of zombies and skeletons!

I was thinking this would be a cool direction for the game. I really really dislike how anyone could come in and destroy your hard work without the agreement we have on this server. Having defesnses in place would reduce that and would add some content to the game.....people grouping together to raid other peoples areas.

I just started playing around with stuff in the server last night. Lots of fun to be had here, but my cliet freezes up probably every 5-10 minutes or so. kinda frustrating...oh well.

Update all your drivers... If that doesn't work, go to the minecraft forums. There are a lot of people on there who get various crash errors regularly, and some have fixes, some dont.

It seems you need to make sure there are no torches near them to work.

Torches kill circuits.
Regular torches, not red, anywhere near redstone wiring/torches makes the whole thing fizzle. Most of the time the actual redstone torches will continue to blink correctly, but no doors/etc will not operate off of affected wire. The only way to avoid this is to leave it dark, and since doors tend to be in well artificially lit areas, it is almost impossible to use redstone for practical applications currently.

Yeah, they make you pay to get on the multiplayer. One-time though, no recurring junk like some other games that work that way.

So I spent way too much time playing this game last night building my tower and digging a big deep mine (taking forever). Built my tower too high into the sky so couldn't finish the top how I wanted to. Drives me crazy that this game is so addicting. I think tonight I am going to just walk in one direction for 30 minutes...see what I find.
