Almost fell to my death because of one. It was a one block opening to a giant ravine, and was just walking along and almost walked into the one block opening.

Funny how I walked past that mound of dirt like it was nothing and then proceeded to find an easier entrance to the same ravine maybe 15 blocks away

Also built my house on top of it haha. It's good for stone and some other ore, but it's not a super great area for wood or food. I believe that the "main land" is only a minute walk or so away

the exp orbs for blocks is amazing! rather diappointed you get none for redstone and golf and iron...lapiz blocks, coal, and diamond drop exp so far..im already lvl 20, and they dropped the max enchantment to 30...**** yes!

Does anyone know the uses for emeralds?

EDIT: I guess all you can do with emeralds is to trade with villagers..

Yea their only use is to trade with the NPCSs or make emerald blocks for decoration.

You get exp for smelting iron and gold

They require leather to craft now. I compass'd around and didnt see 1 cow anywhere..leather is gonna be a rare one..

Think I have like 25 leather and 25 or so steaks. You are looking in the wrong places! I have not gone too far from my house on the hilltop if you have found that yet. Not far from your place.


There's a stupid amount of sheep walking around though.

Anyone else annoyed how the placeing of logs works? I like how you can turn them now but they never seem to place the way I want them.

Yeah, that's pretty annoying, but I'm pretty sure we'll all get used to it sooner or later

Yeah, it's super annoying. It's all dependent on the direction you are facing. The end always points towards you. So yeah, when you are looking at a block at an angle, it's a bitch. Or, when you are trying to place a block between two other blocks.

I mean, I like that you can control it now, it's just a pain to get them all facing the ways you want. You can't just slap blocks down indiscriminately anymore.

Gonna rebuild my Lodge tonight, just because last night I got annoyed and just slapped the rest of it together.

yeah took me forever to build the little spawn shack could not get a few to place right unless I took out the whole column and jump palced them. I wish you could right click them after being placed to rotate the angle.

My house up on the mountain had a bunch of caverns under it that went throughout the mountain, so I just used them to my advantage and part of my casa. Made a few walls with doors to section parts off. Pretty big cave down there.

I'm glad to announce that we've successfully breeded some cows in my breeding compound. Thanks to (in-game names): 508wrx, jettavr6, and sirswank

The warp to it is : /warp breedingcompound

I'd like to ask everyone to please leave 2 of everything alive if you're going to kill it just so we can breed more later on. Thanks

I'm nut sure if it's supposed to happen or not, but going to the Nether seems to reset your XP level to 0. So do your enchanting before you go...

Since MC redid enchanments Bukkit is having issues updating the code to handle it properly. The nether thing is probably a bug.

I'm going to load the latest dev version of bukkit tonight and see if it does anything.

Did it to me, I killed a mob and it went back up to where it was.

I tried the nether thing again, and my xp level went back to normal as soon as I went back out.


... and then I died in a warp mishap
