anyone having any issues with the update?

my friend set up a server over the weekend, and i hopped on last night. after about five minutes, my skin (vault 101 suit) doesn't show up and when i attempt to craft something, i can't click and drag any material in my inventory.

only way i've been able to resolve it is, exit the game completely and start again.



also, i chose to update - does it update my single player map with new ore placement like emeralds?

Sounds like your friend needs to look into what mods/bukkit version/ something he is running is jacked up. Everything on our server (minus getting XP from mined blocks) is working.

When you update to a version only newly generated chunks with that version get the new items. So anywhere you've already been have been generated with 1.whatever and will have ores based on that version.

I thought it worked? And I'm pretty sure you get xp from mining all ore except for stone.

Wasn't working for me last night and bukkit logs were saying there's issues since they re-did the enchantment stuff for 1.3. Let me know if it does work for you.

My skin reset to something weird...and i cant hit things more than once..even if I die...not sure what happened to cause this

The roof and top floor is not done. The inside is a maze that goes all the way to the top floor. Top floor shall be my abode.

Took a stupid amount of materials to make everything, inside included. 32 blocks in diameter. From the top floor it is 97 blocks down. So add a roof and it'll top 100 easy.

also, i was at lvl 20 and a warp mishap killed me. sad face....

could have been worse..full diamond set, and a newly enchanted sword with lvl 28..did a /home and suffocated and lost all of it...ahhhhh

I believe the platform between us was also mine. I got rid of it, and the tower stands there now.

Just set a warp and warped to it 5 times with no issue. and I'm not at home so I'm logged in like everyone else.

I've never had a problem with warps. I got stuck in a wall teleporting home once though. Otherwise everything works fine for me

Always make sure any home or warp is at least 2 blocks on all sides (and above you) open or you run that risk. I do 3 blocks to be safe.

Your MC location is always like 65.xxx (3 decimal places for location) but in the warp file on the server all locations are just the raw number, no decimals. So they are a little vague and that's what can get you stuck in a block.

Back from my 2 week stay in the Adirondacks!

But, just logged on, went in spawn house, couldn't get back out :\

It's laggy as **** as well, hoping it isn't just my interwebz.

I open the door to the spawn house to walk out and after I get like 6 blocks (due to the lag) it almost warps me back in there...

The only warps i know are /warp npc, and npc2 - npc4, which are villages.

I am at /warp fuzzy on the mainland.

This is from a while ago, but after I built the whole nether sanctuary thing, this was walking around my island for a little, then i killed it..most random thing ever.

Maze tower? I need to try that.
And it would be nice if there was some way to show used area easily- like a certain border block.
When I go to an existing map, there is evidence of mining and building everywhere you go... Becomes tiring just looking for a safe place to start something.


I have been playing the single player game- Haven't played in a looong time.
Wow-hardcore was a but much. Perma-death sucks. It just takes one creeper.
But there has been quite a lot added to the game.
I found a chest under a temple and it was rigged to explode. lol.
I killed some tall skinny black transporting demom thing carrying a block and got a blue eye. A used it and exploded...
