So i had to of walked for 9-10 in game days just exploring and walking east of basecamp... Found some pretty sweet cave systems.

Although im unsure as to why all the creepers either are invisible or just standing still doing a " tornado" dance

I still couldn't connect last night

It is so nice running the server being able to give items to whomever. Now that I know tools can be refreshed just getting diamond tools and keeping them forever saves a lot of time.

    TNT is awesome BTW

Indeed! I just wish I could get more gunpowder. I tried to make a monster pit, but apparently in MP you can't move lava or water in buckets?

I put a ton of TNT in the Community Chests, unless everyone cleaned it out already... Which would be pretty scary.

After having my first taste of TNT I can say I just ran around and blew stuff up for a while on my server....if others react the same, multiply that by 6 - 10 people....I am sure it would dry up quick hahahah

    Are you finding craters EVERYWHERE?

The TNT really sped up my land clearing for my build project.

Has anyone been able to move water, other than digging a path from the ocean? I filled up a bucket, threw it into a hole, the water existed for a second, then disappeared. My plans will call for some canals, but I don't think I can make that happen now.

For the sake of saving time and headache, I would ask Surfin to give you water blocks. Digging canals is such a painful process once water doesnt flow and you have to dig deeper.

I finally got my Helms Deep project connected to the caverns underneath my original base near the spawn point. It took a LOT of digging!
