So mine has been in the shop for almost a week and a half.
    Behold:
    Both door latches
Broken Lock Cylinder (keyless and the radio didnt turn off when the car did)
    Fan control module
    Tiptronic Switches
Timing belt, water pump, tensioner etc etc replaced
    Serpentine belt
    cv boot
cam adjuster and valve cover gaskets need to be replaced
    power steering leak
Rear axle beam is bent, so i need a new one of those and the sub axels and wheel hubs and yadda yadda for that
Warranty only covered the fan control, door latches and the tiptronic switch.
Timing belt and all that is replaced, the only thing that isnt done is the gaskets, and rear axel beam. its gonna be expensive enough.
But hey, I love my vw. lol

    Just a few minor things:

    1) Trunk wont open because a small plastic piece that the motor pushes on is broken.
    2) Passenger door wont open. Will need to take apart panels to connect whatever is loose.
    3) Driver side window control, one button broke
    4) Arm rest hinges broke, so whole thing just pops off.
    5) Glove compartment hinge is also broke, supported by only one.

Just replaced #3 ignition coil. Now runs like a champ.

The best soloution for random misfires, is buy some bolt down hitachi coils from ecstuning, and some new sparkplugs and you will be golden. I love the feeling of new spark+coils.

    This thread has mad potential.

Intermittent coolant light on cold startups
    sagging headliner
chipped paint on the rear bumper
    not low enough
    not on "baller wheels"
front plate holes need to be filled
front grill blacked out (looking for a cheep stock replacement)
Im sure theres more but I cant think of them right now.

I hate to ask the obvious, but do your fobs have new/good batts in them?
And if they do (and this was my case) then it might be your ignition cylinder. Mine had some cable not aligned or something and it wouldn't go back to full lock when you turn the car off. So my key less didn't work and my radio wouldn't turn off and neither would my clock and odo.
