PNW Sightings Thread - 2012

Saw a nice MK2 GTI Black in color with quad lights and silver wheels going down Roy Rodgers from Scholls Ferry about 2 hours ago. Threw the V and got it back. Couldnt tell what kind of wheels they were as we passed pretty quickly.

Got honked at by a olive green vanagon that was lifted a little with black wheels and off road tires while me and my buddy had our hoods up (t-red jetta, grey 1986 vr6 gti) and were bs'n at lovely tire and wheel on 82nd at about 4:00.

got tail-gated on hwy26 for a few miles by a low flat green vr6? mark 3 gti.. i slowed down to 50 and the guy thru a fit with his high beams. got back to speed and he inched back up and i repeated. he finally passed me, BUT ON THE SHOULDER!!! got in front of me and then slowed down and waited for me to come up, i went to pass on left and HE GOT IN MY WAY and wouldnt let me pass... he finally got off at Helvatia/Brookwood.

watch out for that guy, what a dick.

Had some guy in a mkv do the same thing to me on Hwy 20 yesterday. I slowed down to drive home the point that he was unnecessarily far up my ass then resumed the 5 over I was doing on a 2 lane highway at night. Then he tried to pass me at Sharp's corner.....

Last night about 9pm saw an Imola 20th with Rotiforms cruise by on 164th in Mill Creek.

White audi 4000 on 50th and foster/powell (wet hen carwash), looked lowered with a roof rack, trunk lid looked dented.

light blue mkII jetta on 16's (?) with singlerounds. threw the v and got it back, then let him out in traffic. at the same place as the audi.

got tailgated again, this time by a red mk3 glx low on dishy wheels in beaverton.. did the slow down routine again, and this guy got pissy too, but instead he made it very clear he was following me to my destination, i did a loop thru an albertsons and he ended up behind me again, so i let the s/c do the talking and lost him without getting a ticket

saw what looked to be a dark green (definitely dark color) mk3 golf/gti, quite low and looked 'stanced'. Yellow fogs.. wheels, etc.

this was on SR-542 (Mt. Baker Hwy) in Bellingham tonight.. around 10:30pm or so.

My girlfriend spotted this one in NoPo. Purple 1991 G60 corrado with stock wheels, tinted tails, grill/eyebrow combo, non-working electric seatbelts, black leather interior, side skirts, rear valence, OEM front lip with a notch cut out of it, NA headlights, heated nozzels, rear badge delete. (I used to own this). I am interested to hear how it is doing, it me up if you currently have this one.

Yellow 20th at Alderwood mall on the second floor by Nordstrom. Low on Rotiform BLQ wheels, FMIC, and a euro plate. Looked good.
