    From the video description:
    Background:
The taxi driver gets out of the car, kicks the Mercedes doors, opens them, slaps the guy inside. Gets back to his taxi, takes off. The Mercedes guy runs out, opens his trunk, grabs a sword, runs to the taxi and strikes a blow to the roof. The taxi stops, taxi driver gets out again and this is where the video begins.

Seemed like a weird road rage conflict. Being from CZ, I was expecting some more action.

First of all, that taxi guy was HUGE! The Mercedes driver looked like hacksaw Jim Duggan, and then the taxi driver broke the Benz's rear windshield with his bare hands?!

I think that was pretty crazy.

Road rage with a sword is so much more chivalrous than a gun.

It's not hard to break a window in a car.

Wow, what a couple of idiots

I respectfully disagree, I've tried. Not on a rear windshield, but on passenger windows and my hand gave out before the glass did.

I tried too and did. Maybe you should join a gym

He’d have to smash the window with his elbow. At 170cm, Coogan wasn’t a big man, but toting jackhammers and heavy lifting had built his strength up. The middle of the window was level with his head, so Coogan – who was standing in a ditch next to the cab – would have to reach high with his right arm while swinging it. At the first attempt, his elbow just bounced back. It was an awkward motion and it was difficult to get power behind the blow. He swung again; nothing happened. As the flames grew and the smoke began to get even thicker, Coogan began to fear he would fail.

He gritted his teeth and breathed hard before swinging a third time, summoning all his strength – and the window exploded in a shower of pellets. He latched on to Bajwa with both arms, pressed his feet against the door and pulled.

    BTW, I am Coogan.

It looked to me like EurBro got something small out of his car that he hit the window with. Not to mention he is a big puss to wait till the guy is pulling away to do it.

Gun laws aren't nearly as totalitarian in the Czech Republic as they are else where in Europe...

I hate using Wikipedia for a source, but this article (with footnotes) sums up their firearms laws rather well: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_pol...Czech_Republic

That being said, a CZ75 would be a lot easier to conceal than a sword.

The uncle carries a gun in Prague. Once we went into another village and he bought grenades with him (probably 15 years ago). I know he went to prison but has not totally revealed the reason so I suspect its more to due with him than the country.

I don't think I'd call him that. He didn't exactly run away when confronted by a nut with a sword. I would've already been long gone by then. It was stupid for him to do, but I wouldn't exactly be beating his car while maniac man is standing there with a sword, sharpened or not. You can easily kill someone with a phillips screwdriver, so even a decorative sword is quite dangerous.

It's pretty safe to say that both of these guys are idiots and leave it at that.

This is why Americans work so many more hours than Europeans.

Could have resolved this in a matter of seconds with a few bullets and gotten back on the road

Guy with the sword... you are awesome!

The guy with the sword could have done better, or worse, really. He could have run the blade through the taxi driver, indeed could have killed him in the middle of the street...

wow, i didn't even see the guy in the tracksuit break the rear glass the first time

  34. 10-04-2010 09:14 AM #34
probably the taxi driver used something like this:

  35. 10-04-2010 09:35 AM #35
I don't know what happen, but whenever there is a dispute involving a taxi driver it's usually the taxi driver's fault driving around like they own the road and every one had to get out of their way. Plus the guy looks like a straight up douche.

Then he ran and broke the other guys rear window while he was driving away. what a pooo$$eee!
