I had an 1st gen G15 keyboard and within a year the paint on the keys had started to rub off. Hopefully this one won't have that problem.

Just a note on visibility, LEDs like that are most visible and intense when viewed straight on but are actually LESS visible at an angle than a standard bulb.

I'm not ready for a hard case. I've been eyeing a number of bags for awhile but couldn't decide which one to go for. This one has that 'attache' look to it. Slimmer than a full on laptop bag, has briefcase handles, but also has a shoulder strap. It was available in black or brown, and I love how brown leather ages so I opted for that. Can't wait for it to arrive.

I was also looking at a Tumi bag but the one I liked the looks of was nylon, and if I'm going to use a nylon bag I would've just kept putting up with the work issued one and saved a couple hundred bucks.

Fits a 15 in laptop, but isn't padded.

The pics from the Coach website are hard to link, but if you go to their business bags section and click on the bag, then click again on the bag in the pop up window you see more views, including one of the inside.
