    Hey all,

Chuckles (aka Del Griffith) and I have decided that after seeing the great view the Clark stand had (near where we sat on the hill in GA for the race) we reckon we should buy stand tix instead. The Clark stand 4 day pass is $299, so only $100 more than GA tix so we are choosing to be elitists rather than sit on the hill with the great un-washed

So, if you want in, drop $299 my way and I will buy your tix with ours. Will probably buy before the end of the month so gives you punks a few weeks to think about it.

PS - Ticketek online only allows for purchase of 10tix but if the number goes above that I will go in to Ticketek personally so I can buy them that way (and potentially choose the seats rather than get the randomly allocated seats)

    I think I'm in.

Only reason I can't think I'd be there would be out of country for work.

but seriously... i don't think I'll do F1 next year. Although, I've still got all those photos from this year, in particular there's a stunningly funny shot of Costa smirking in his fitted boxers posing in your hotel doorway. I've been meaning to post it on the tex since March, however I've been making too much money outta the shot by selling it to Blue Magazine.

Wes, chuckles and I ended up with the 4 stand pass for the weekend to mix it up a bit (or in our case it is a 3 stand pass because we don't get in until Friday)

    Thurs: Brabham
    Friday: Fangio
    Saturday: Jones
    Sunday: Clarke

Has anyone got plans for this year?

I'll be in Melbourne the following week (Tues-Fri), so tempted to fly down on the Saturday morning instead for Quali & the race...

found out over the weekend I'm working on Turn 16 this year (last turn on to the straight). I was working there the year VTEC kicked in (yo) on the last corner for Button, excellent corner to work on.

I might be there by Friday evening... considering an A3 Cannonball run, I feel like doing a road trip... poor little A3 hasn't ever ventured too far out of Sydney....

I'm certainly there for sat quali and sat night GTG. Just realised the new iPad ships on the Friday, so unless they deliver early, I may miss Friday night's rib eye festival.. Unless I fly and Wayne picks me up from the airport from the chauffeur car rank in the 7.. At least it'll blend in..

No latest Jim, just get there when you can. I'll be at the track for the day too, so even if I leave after Friday practice I still won't be back till 7pm or so. People are welcome to rock up whenever.

Looks like it Ryan. Matty can you confirm? You want to shout dinner TWICE???

Dkr, how do you know when exactly they are shipping? I am tossing up whether to just order online or do my twice yearly queue (iPad and iPhone) at Apple shop.

Have booked Hotel Urban on Fiztroy Street for Sat & Sun nights. A bit concerned they appear to have so many rooms left so close to the race. Hopefully it's okay.

Flying down on Saturday, leaving CBR at 6:40am, arriving at 7:50am.

Still not exactly sure what access I'm going to have so I may end up in GA all weekend.

We swapped this year - you're flying and I'm driving.... Matt can still have an Audi gracing his driveway anyhow for us to all admire from his rooftop terrace....

We will be GA also so I am sure we will find each other on the day.... Wes said he is doing some upmarket GA thing... snob.

PS - I am staying in Carlton, go the Blues !
