They must have screwed it up when they put in the new door lock module in the drivers door then, I guess I am not going to worry about it...we have one of the wost VW service places in the country I swear...They also dripped black sealant all over the window...I just got the window replaced...they wouldnt do anything about it...

oh and they couldnt figure out my coolant light...they needed to add f-ing coolant..the list goes on and on...

So a random question- what kind of fuel economy do you average? I'm averaging 25mpg with about a 60% city / 40% hwy per tank (mostly city driving but I get quite a bit of country 55mph driving in), it feels like I get my mpg sucked down anytime I hit the freeway. My g/f's little automatic 4cyl Honda Accord averages 35-40mpg driving freeway, and does ~2000RPM @70mph. I can't help but wonder if there's something wrong with my car pulling ~3400RPM @70mph in 5th gear... or is this how VW designed the 5-spd tranny? Doesn't seem right.

Glad my town does such a great job plowing...

aftermath of hitting/snapping a 6x6 granite mailbox post, then the telephone pole 3ft after it.

somethings messed up with the steering. hopefully tomorrow isnt treacherous so I can pull off the wheel and find out what other damage might have occurred.
