MK6 Jetta photoshop!

When the Jetta is lowered and on wheels they look really good. I can't wait for the GLI! I would buy one if I was in the market.

The new jetta's need a spoiler on the back badly. I actually love the look of the new front end though, very aggressive. I'm also a hold out for the GLI, however I love the look of the SEL's with the chrome accents and fogs. The S and SE models are very plain though.

I think that the SE cars, being VW's predicted highest-volume seller, need chrome trim on the windows, grille, and air dam too. The SEL cars can be further differentiated with extra chrome on the door handles, possibly chrome all around the door windows, and/or HIDs/LED tails.

Just my $0.02.

But yeah, I'm excited for the GLI as well. At one point it was hinted that we would see it revealed this month, but apparently that was delayed.

haha i'm the exact opposite. i hate chrome on cars, and absolutely love the fact that the S & SE don't have any chrome trim like the SEL does. to each their own i guess?

I just don't know anymore. I keep going back and forth with my preference, VI, then V, then VI, then V.

The proportions of the V were so right, and tight, weren't they? The new one is a bit too sterile for my taste. Your Jetta was a real nice looking ride fastlane, I bet you'll miss it.

See I would get the SEL just to have the sportier looking chrome accents and fogs. I just hate that the Nav is standard on the SEL, I would prefer to save $2k and get an SEL without Nav, it should have been an option... and yet there is no option to upgrade the sound system.

yeah i think for mine im going to add a lip spoiler...i feel without it, there isnt any resolution to the rear of the car...this is mine when i picked it up...just could look better with one...



Also am looking at some wheel and suspension options...air seems thin up at the altitude the 4x4 suspension is putting me at

I ordered a lip spoiler from elitespoilers.com and the color match was perfect. It is a "no-drill" install but I took it to a body shop I've used in the past so they could apply the adhesion promoter so the 3M tape would stick. They actually installed it for free (probably because I've had three cars repaired there)!
