the only way i could see it is maybe a trip to Arkam and a chit chat with the Joker...since he technically didnt die.

With Cat Woman and Bane, Joseph Gordon-Levitt playing a third villain just doesn't fit with me. I could see the beginning of Dick Grayson's story though.

Although, using Levitt as the Joker might not be as bad as it sounds. If he can pull it off, go for it.

I could see that. Maybe Batman is in Arkham for some reason and The Riddler starts heckling him. Maybe to just set up the possibilities in case Nolan ever wants to do a 4th.

So, could the Boy Wonder be in this movie? In a word, no. In two words, hell no. This is almost certainly a garbled report where some key details got confused, even assuming the basic facts of the report are accurate to being with. Both Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale have been pretty clear that they have no interest in including Robin in their Batman movies, and besides... does it make any logical sense that some random local officials would have been given the top secret information that Robin is involved in the movie, particularly when that fact wouldn't be remotely relevant to preliminary location scouting? So yeah, as fun as it might be to suggest Joseph Gordon-Levitt is playing the Robin to Bale's Batman...no. That isn't happening.

Third 'Dark Knight' will film in Pittsburgh this summer!

PITTSBURGH — Criminals beware, Batman will be on the beat this summer in Pittsburgh.

Film director Christopher Nolan, who has helmed the two previous Dark Knight films starring Christian Bale as caped crime fighter and his alter ego, Bruce Wayne, says the Pennsylvania city will host filming for the third film for at least a month, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Pittsburgh Tribune Review reported Tuesday.

The city’s film office said filming could last between four and six weeks and will start in July. The film, “The Dark Knight Rises,“ is scheduled to be released in July 2012.

Nolan says Pittsburgh had everything he and the filmmakers were seeking for the upcoming film, which follows “Batman Begins“ and “The Dark Knight.“

In all likelihood, they actually will not be returning to Chicago for filming, which absolutely baffles me considering Nolan's affection for the city (he used to live down the street from where I work).

Money is probably the reason. Municipal and state govs will offer hefty tax credits to get studio films made in their areas. Perhaps Pittsburgh simply offered better incentives.

Upon listening to the audio from the official site, someone took the audio and put it into an audio program to look at the spectrograph. This is what they discovered:



Clearly a hashtag for Twitter. From there, everyone started following the user and using the hashtag. Which led to this page:

The more that use the tag and follow the user, the more people that show up on the mosaic. When it was full, it would reveal the image of Bane above. However, someone found the image in the source code before everything was completed.

Also, someone from over at IMDB had to say this:

Apparently, he doesn't even flinch which makes Ra's intrigued.

They take him in and teach him everything he knows So basically,

Bane's only real advantage is that he has a genetic mutation that makes him impervious to pain. No super strength or chemical enhancers (tht i was made aware of)

Stoked to see the creativity of the TDK viral campaign is still in full effect for TDKR.

That's exactly how I wanted Bane to look: intimidating, like a muzzled animal ready to kill, but not buff to the point of absurdity or badly mutilated.

I give them even more credit - I don't use Twitter, have no clue what a "hashtag" is, and would never have thought to analyze the sound file (not that I have the software to do it anyway). Clearly this was not marketed at my demographic even though I will see the movie

As for the pic - Bane looks way too small, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since the whole series has been pretty good.
