I had a bunch when I was in grade school...didn't care for them too much. However, since the very beginning I was biased having been exposed to the "real" TMNT through the original Eastman/Laird comics...so the cartoony versions weren't very cool after that.

PS: I liked the Yusaki Yojimbo (sp.?) character.

I still have all my old TMNT comics. Starting collecting them around #6 when I was in junior high. Have em ALL in 1st print including #1!!!!

The archie comic series, toys, movies, and whatever else they've done since are really a joke.

I see that Eastman has now sold the whole thing to Nickelodeon so I assume they'll wreck it further.

These black and white figures they released a while ago are true to the original series at least...

I've got a bunch of TMNT stuff. All packed away for safekeeping.

I kick myself in the head when Big Lots. Had the orginal TMNT from the makers called playmates I think. All of them still in packages. Including Case Jones,Sprinter and Shredder. I got every single peice of the Turtle Van still. Ninja Turtle skateboard too. Who remembers the Ninja Turtles outfits you could get?

    Look at what I found

My original April O'Neil. Still in the packaging unopened.

Unfortunately all I have left of what was a massive collection of TMNT toys as a kid. I didn't care too much about having her when I was a kid, so my mom decided to keep it stored away.

Sadly, I lost my TMNT costumes during various moves as a kid, but I do still have some of the action figures.

In 1993 I bought my son a TMNT car. It was a red, white, and blue "turtle-ized" VW Beetle with giant off roadish tires, snap on lattice "doors", and I think sone type of handles on the roof so an action figure could stand on the rear bumper and hold on. I remembr my wife and I spending a good hour+ putting all the stickers on, there were what seemed like 500 stars plus probaly the usual TMNT stuff.

I wish I would have bought one for myself.
Next edit by onebadbug; tomorrow at 10:13 AM.

What you get isn't always what you see.

I have all of mine still. They all have been played with. Hard. Most of them have some burns on them when I lit them on fire....
