Whats it include? I do NOT want to go to my dealership anymore, I have had enough of their nonsense and trying to rip me off.

      I have a 2006 GTI

It's not a major service, pretty much an oil change and tire rotation and top off of fluids

It's in the owner's manual for the exact details

      x2.

40,000 is the first major service. Everything after for a while is pretty minuscule.

...I swear, no one reads the manual that comes with the car.
Pop that bad boy open; it explains everything done for each service.

i know... guilty as well, but considering VW sent me this thing in the mail and was like your 50k maintenance is coming up, i thought it was more "serious" than oil change and rotation... I bought the car @ 42k so this scheduled maintenance stuff is pretty new to me

Yeah. Just give it a look... The manual shows everything the service checks and replaces.
If you have any mechanical ability at all, I would recommend doing some of it, then have the dealer do the rest.
It WILL save you on that upfront cost of labor and parts.
