MY BUILD | 2003 Volkswagen GTI 1.8T | CTT - Carrot Top Tuning - GT3076r, 3" to 2.5" turboback exhaust (vbanded), Tial 38mm wastegate, fx400 6 puck, Peloquin LSD, VF Poly Engine Mounts, Greddy Profec B Type II, walbro 255 inline fuel pump, ID1600cc @ 3bar running on e85. AMB head, AWD bottom end. 424whp 369wtq @ 30psi (OLD: 383 whp 333wtq @ 23 psi)
So.... On my 14 hour drive home from SoWo, my turbo manifold cracked
6 hours of constant misfiring sucks the BBD. Misfiring because the turbo was just sucking in 1000deg. carbon dioxide leaking from the manifold.
Lack of Oxygen + Mega Hot Air = runs like dick hole.
That's getting replaced as soon as i get my new mani from ATP...
This weekend I'm workin on my new 2.5" IC plumbing.
I'm having top-end flow issues with my IC plumbing now. After about 12psi the power feels like it plateaus, almost like I'm not getting a complete burn of the fuel. I'm about 90% sure this is because I am running 2" IC plumbing through the TB pipe. It spools mega fast, but the top-end just isn't there.
So I'm replacing my rad fans so i can push my radiator back for new IC core clearance, replacing the IC Core, and iC plumbing
