Parting out! 1988 Scirocco 16v -- Maryland

So, my 88 16v caught fire a few weeks back and is totalled. So pretty much everything on it is for sale. I haven't stripped the car down yet, but I will be starting on that tomorrow.

SHEET METAL THAT IS STILL AVAILABLE in good condition:
Driver side quarter panel
Roof (non sunroof)

It is a non-sunroof car, black in color. Engine is completely stock, it runs decently. It would occasionally burn oil on startup if left sitting for a while. I'm not sure how many miles were on it, odometer stopped working at 193k miles about a year ago. I don't know that it was the original cluster.

I will accept PayPal or cash money. Shipping is at buyer's expense. I don't want to ship the bigger pieces, those will be pickup only. Feel free to make offers on stuff!

Oh, the car has these parts on it/with it that are available:

Euro headlights, no chips or cracks. Turn signals not included: sold
Euro valences (for the 16v body kit), black (unpainted), sold
Raceland coilovers, used. Approx. 20k mi. on them, sold
Enkei Aeronautics, 15x6 et33. Excellent shape. No tires. $650

Bumpers and 16v are a little big for me to ship. The bumpers especially. The shipping would cost many times more than the cost of the parts. I'll see if I can weigh them and get you a price. Send me a ZIP code so I can calculate.

I'm not in Baltimore, I'm in a town called North East (they're very creative when it comes to naming towns, eh?), about halfway between Baltimore and Philly.

Turn signals were mismatched. Drivers side was Euro, which I'm keeping as a spare for my other car. Passenger side was a US one (the other Euro one got broken) which I suppose I would sell, I'm not sure if I have any drivers side US ones anymore. If I do, I'd sell both of those.

Trans is code 2Y, it works, but it grinds 2nd, grinds reverse, and the output flange seals leak. I'd sell it for $75.

The people that were interested in the whole car backed out, so the part-out continues.

Please keep in mind that it's winter and the car is outside, so pulling parts off of the car may take some time, depending on weather and whatnot. Car is mostly stripped now, all that remains to be removed is suspension, fenders, pedals, and gas tank.

If anyone has IM'd me, I've either already gotten back to or I will be doing so very soon.
