wow, so i went to look at it......the exterior is in rough shape. the interior is in rough shape. and it has 242K on the clock....no thanks. I think i might just keep my car for a bit and work on it and keep looking

I bought my Jetta with 108k on it, and it still smelled like mk4 crayons. I loved it.

nah man, like it looked like someone dumped acid on the hood. the clearcoat was gone. The body was starting to look rusty. They i open the door and the inside door handle is broken off. After that i looked at the miles and left. Not even worth my time. But on the upside i started to try and fix my misfire on the mk3. I replaced the MAF with a known working one and it still ran the same. But when i unplug the MAF it runs normal. But if i drive it with the MAF unplugged the car stalls....

what a mk3 is fugly and a *** owns a mk4 lol. ... i damn near rebuilt most of the car lol ...all new suspension brakes engine mounts cooling system being done ...shifter done almost lol ...hell i had alot of work done to it and got an awesome stereo in it too boot lol ..oh well i iwll keep it and look cool

look for the stockish red mk2 gti with the spray painted driver door and driver fender due to PO wreck!

also, i will not race you. i actually had a guy at a light go "man that sounds great what you running"

i proceded to laugh and floor it to go no where, coughing lots of black smoke out. yes its a mk1 mechanical diesel with no power.

I live in wickliffe, work at legacy village in lyndhurst and hang out in solon and kent. Also am in toledo often, graduated from ut so I still visit. I've had my gti just over a month and met a ton of dubbers already. Saw a blue mk4 r in solon yesterday, met a guy driving a 300z who also owns a vw, and a kid with a turbo mk5 rabbit. Also went on the last fatdubs cruise. Def liking this scene better than my last cars

Funny.. NE Ohio represents really well. I can think of at least 5 H2O national show placers from the area. I have owned two of them. NE ohio is solid. And brings home lots of hardware from all of the shows. So... I would say that NE Ohio has a lot more cars than you know about. Most of us don't troll the web forums much anymore. You are just prob in a weak area.
