I've never seen a mean side of my dog, ever... The older she gets, the more lazy she becomes, but that's just their breed. If you want a dog that snores, has the foulest gas one can imagine, and only wants to be a lap dog that weighs 35+ pounds, then these are for you. If you want a dog that you can play and play and play hard with, not so much... We walk my dog lightly, which pretty much wears her out... I don't think I'll ever own a different type of dog. Once you "own" one, you'll never think twice...

Actually to tell you the truth my Bulldog is very active. He loves to run around and chase balls, play with his chew toys, I can actually spin him around as he grips his chew toy. He loves to wrestle (he really loves it), he chases my other dog around the house and outside, loves to play with my pit bull (my pit gets annoyed quick...lol). He is a very active dog and here i thought he was suppose to be chill and relaxed (which he is at times as well). I love this breed love it love it love it. He is very caring as well but stubborn and wants to be alpha dog (he is not my Pit is) but he tries and gets put in his place every once in a while by my pit. All in all Bulldogs are a wonderful, funny and caring breed.

      olde bulldog

Now your going to say he is a pit. But an olde bulldog is an english bulldog mixed with either pit bull, american bulldog or mastiff. Mine is mixed with pit bull bit he has a lot of extra skin around his neck and his tail is short and he also has short legs

So i heard there is a surgery you can get for a bulldog to help them with there breathing in the long run. I heard you can get it done when you have your bulldog fixed.

      Anyone ever done this?

    35. 03-14-2011 11:07 AM #35
I've heard of it as well, but my dog has no problems breathing (knocks on wood).
