If you don't know the name Ferdinand Karl Piëch, and you're a Volkswagen fan, you should. Especially if you live here in the States. See why Automobile Magazine named him Man of the Year 2011.

Now if only he can bring the Scirocco "R" to America, That would be awesome...Also get on VoA about cheapening the Jetta, its for that reason that my next car will likely be an Audi. I have to say, I'm not crazy about some of VWs recent decisions.

But, Ferdinand Piech is likely the smartest person in the entire auto industry.
      WT??????

Certainly Piech would rate high on most measures of "intelligence" - he's a brilliant engineer. Salesmanship & leadership? Not so much.

Yeah, I'm sure VWOA would hate for Jetta buyers to switch to Audis.

If Volkswagen is on top of the world when he's through, he is truly the master of the game!

      Now where's the Polo?
