Great looking car! everything is clean and tight. im 16 going to be 17 in a few days and picked up just a blue lagoon jetta vr6. i wish i lived in cali and not wisconsin because i havnt been able to do anything with it yet because i dont want to damage it in the snow and salt right away keep putting up pictures its definitely my backround
very clean jetta dude
and i really admre your attention to maitenance, and fixing things before they turn into problems, really shows your dedication and appreciation to the car. Keep up the good work
and if you dont mind me asking where did you find the inner/outer cv repair kit for your axle. i also have an automatic ( but its a vr ) and cant seem to find anything except a whole new axle.
Not as nice as yours but it's getting cleaned up as we speak.
Thanks man, really good to hear someone who appreciates maintenance
For your axel:
Shouldn't be too hard, I would recommend a haynes repair manual, it guided me through the repair while the Bentley guide confused me a bit, the book is 20$ at any Pepboys, Autzone, Etc
Yesterday when I was repairing the outer joint on the drivers side axel, I noticed the inner boot was also torn, went and picked a new one up at the dealer today (ripped off) and fixed it. Also, my allignment has been so bad that the traction control light is on constantly now, I will be getting it re-alligned in the next few days
