Hey Perjad, have you invested in a haldex filter removal wrench yet for the Mk1 TT's?? I'm due for an engine oil change in about a month and would love to get my haldex oil changed at the same time as it's also due. Let me know, thanks.

Yes I have the tool. Infact we just got Transmission tools for all Autos including DSG. When time comes just call and I will book you in.

Are you open the week of the Dec. 27th? Do you presently have the Haldex Oil Cartriges in stock. I'd like to bring my car in that week if possible for a synthetic oil change and to get the haldex unit oil and filter changed also. Let me know, thanks!

Well the problem is getting there and back unless you're open on Saturdays...

I am open on saturdays but half day only. You can rent a car for $38 a day from rental places. There is one next to our shop.

2003, 20th I've had since brand new.

Car is about to turn 80k this summer, but is now about 9 years old.

Would you suggest a TB/WP job? or think I'm still ok for the time being?

You are way over due. Dont forget timing belt itself ages by time as well as mileage. I did Tig's anv GTI around 30K mark. Dont take a chance if it fails it will cost you way more than a T-belt job. At least take the cover off and take a close look at the belt for sign of micro cracks.
