I'm thinking I want to pick up another GLI, with low miles...

Maybe an E39 M5 or 540i, or maybe an S60R...

Haven't gotten their offer yet. The adjuster was out today and said he was to $15K before he even started looking at the subframe, suspension, etc...

So I'm checking out a low mileage GLI in CT that has a downpipe with the cat deleted. It's not throwing a code or anything, but do they do a visual inspection looking for a cat here in PA?

Depends on your county. For instance here in the Lehigh valley if it's obd2 then your not supposed to but some counties with just inspection are supposed to. If your in a county that does the dyno then your in trouble for sure

Just fine! Essentially finished. I'd rather put my money elsewhere. I sold my old steelies and put that money towards the Forge WINTake and that's about it. Have had the same intake for almost three years.

Other than that, just retrofitted the door warning lights (OEM housings with PERFORMANCEleds bulbs) in the GLI.. The R32 has an alignment and inspection coming up and that's it.

Family is well and I am recovering from a little "surgery" from yesterday.

I'm doing good, just putting up with a little CV joint clicking with the mk4 turd. Got an appt to get that fixed along with hopefully getting some stage 1 motor mounts installed. (have yet to buy them). Other than that, the vr6 is growling along just fine
