who knows. i heard about them in some thread on here. i will always look at raceland as cheap coilovers, good for the price.

evryone and their mothers has them now.

confused. they offer a 2 yr warranty on their regular coils, but only a 1 yr warranty on these ultimo's. I think they're just built to go lower... says they can do 4" front and rear

      but i assume they suck

the ultimo is beefier than the original raceland so I don't think it should be seen as a less reliable revision.

Yeah it looks to be beefier. Thats why Im so as to why they only offer a one year warranty. Would be interested to see some reviews

^ they prob got too many warranty replacement requested when the coilover was not in cause (like it happened to me lol)

So they want to maintain that perfect customer services relation without turning down RMA request, cutting the warranty from 2 to 1 year seems like a good getaway.

ha, 1 year warrenty? what a joke.... they probably only give that because they are so cheap you can just buy another set if something breaks.

i was dying laughing reading this :

      Warning:

When you install the Raceland Coil over kit on your Golf, please do not exceed the maximum allowed wheel offset of 35mm. We suggest you stay between 30 and 35 mm. If your wheel offset or ET is greater than 35mm, then you must use conical shaped wheel spacers on the front, or risk damage to the inside of your tires. It may also put too much strain on your front axles.

its funny that people that dont understand offsets are giving advice on such.
I'm not a star. Somebody lied.

looks like they have a stiffer front and rear spring than the standard coils.

at least the color scheme is a little more appealing. Those pistachio green springs are pretty sweet

It seems to me that the ride quality is gonna be worse since everything is stiffer (since anyone who buys racelands/rokkors usually uses them for DD use). I'd be interested in trying them out though, maybe they're the budget H&R Ultra Low's?
