Just got mine today and installed with the Sylvania amber bulbs. The smoked markers are a perfect match for deep black (pictures tomorrow after a bath). Great mod: simple, cheap, stealth, and OEM-looking (at night); all at the same time.

Is there an issue with the housing melting if you use the sylvania ambers rather than the stock bulbs? Saw that somewhere but unsure if it's true.

So if the included LED bulbs give a code, using Sylvania Longlife 168NA LL is the way to go? Or get them as a first choice?

Edit: I ended up buying a pair of GE 194NA bulbs and will try to pop them in tomorrow. They will probably run cooler at 4 W, 14 V spec vs. the 168NA bulbs at 4.9 W, 14 V spec.

Installed my these on my 2010 a couple weeks ago.

I used amber Sylvania 2827s instead of the LEDs and they have been working great with no code issues.

I was thinking about buying the smoked side marker covers but wanted to know about the legality of installing them in Maryland. I travel in an area where the cops have a tendency to go a bit over board with tinting (pulling over people to check tint/mods) and would prefer to not have them get me for this if it is not road legal.

Fit is a C like someone mentioned. They don't sit nice and flush like the OEM ones. Also the led bulbs don't fit in the socket.
