If that were true, Id be featured by now.

Shame the Fender flares just don't quite make it all the way to the skirt.

I don't think the autobiographies are to showcase the best of the best for there are already the showgrounds and mags for that. Rather, I believe their purpose is to exemplify the spirit of the vw enthusiast and the love of tuning, modifying and driving our cars. I don't particularly care for them all myself, either, but that's what makes all of this great: that we're all doing things differently.

Congrats, is in order. Obviously it's something different and not for everyone, of course that is exactly how the cars was built. For the Owners own preference. It still is a relatively clean corrado.

Not a perfect car, but as said it's to showcase the VW enthusist car.

The only thing that gets me, as some mods are not to my taste.

Was the Core support a replacement to a fubr'd one that was after some paint or just never got painted? Needs paint.
And the Blue samco hoses. Were they bought blue on purpose, or was a good $$ deal had on them?
Not too keen on the Camo paint, but that goes for any car.
I understand the flares to squeeze the 9.5" wide rims under. And it looks like you worked on those quite a bit.

In all though nice job, it is still a clean Rado at least cleaner than most. i.e. you won't see my 1991 Tornado pink Corrado on here.
We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.

Not my taste but the guy below put it down nicely!

Too many of you brainwashed to thinking everyone's car should be a PVW entry!

I'm actually the one who purchased the car back in July, although everyone seems to be hating on it, I agree with the minority of the people on here that it's about individual taste and obviously this car's mods are not for everybody. Car is now in Massachusetts and I am unfortunately forced to sell due to the difficulty in making it US road legal (is a CAN car). Figured I'd throw it out there to see if anyone was interested, will be probably making a FS thread relatively soon but the original one should pretty much suffice until then. PM with any offers, questions etc.

This feature tainted the feelings I had about mine being featured shortly before it.

GL with the sale. Gonna take one special person with bad taste and willing to deal with legalizing it to buy this one!

Its going to take 3K to make it right without painting the hood, and without seeing what cutting was done to the fenders and quarters.

Good luck with the sale man, you're going to need it.

Not sure when vortex turned into a bashing site, thought it was an enthusiast's forum. 3k to make it right? I guess you should reference my above post in that these mods are not for everyone. I have a carbon fiber hood to bolt on and please don't make comments about things you clearly have no knowledge about. You don't like it, then keep it to yourself.

I dont think there was bashing, it was more along the lines of it will be a hard sale due to the Corrado market tends to be very small and odd modifications that are not easily changed.

Its still there, every one ends up getting their balls busted a little bit I think its tighter these days now that there are so few of us around and having time to spend on here and on our Corrado's.

The car looks good ...I like your style and imagination, thats what these kids dont have!!! They just copy everyone else's corrado and use mommys money ********: Oh and dont ban me from vortex for telling the TRUTH
      1. Spelling and punctuation is key to showing respect and conveying a good argument to someones statement.

      2. Style is subjective to opinion

      3. Imagination (finger painting does not count, real paint jobs and engineering does. There is plenty of imagination on here, just most have discovered funds for such projects are some time better invested into more grown up things ie; homes, retirement funds, keeping the car reliable)

      4. I highly doubt that every ones mothers sponsor their Corrado's...I believe its called we have real jobs and budgets to work with.

      5. Swearing gets .01% respect points as it shows a lack in vocabulary.

Any chance you are a politician? The way I read this thread was the majority of people had nothing nice to say. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the mongoloids on this forum have no tact nor constructive criticism when doing so.

There is no special application that a person has to fill out to own one of these cars. The majority of the human population doesn't know what kind of car it is and doesn't give a crap about it. And most of those who purchase one and make a concerted effort to join the forum get nothing but a bunch of crap from the rest of the gang.

The way I see it, you people are lucky to have new members help to keep one less Rado off the chopping block. It also generates sales for site sponsors and others who are parting out cars.
