I know a few dubbers go to the Sonic car wash in Bellerose but do any of you actually get the monthly plan? I was actually thinking about doing so for when the first snow falls just to keep the snow and salt off the car since you can come practically everyday lol
EDIT: I wanted to suggest a day or something that a few guys can come through and do a mini-G2G of some sort.
For those who don't know, address is:
249-24 Jericho Turnpike
Bellerose NY 11001
*in no way am I affiliated with the shop car wash just passing some info.

Great place to go! dont feel its worth it to get the monthly plan though. A car wash will never do as good a job as u do urself. But once again sonic is a great place to fall back on when your having one of those lazy days![]()

Im the same way I much rather do it my-self but when
it gets to the point where the water is freezing on the car
as you wash it...I think that means its to damn cold out
to be doing it your self...![]()

I'm proud to say I was the first customer a well as the first monthly subscriber at Sonic.
Like Mr. Red, I'm a detailing freak and take extreme pride in taking care of all my cars with the best products available.
I have been to several so called "hand car washes" over the past 6-7 years.. And I have never seen the care and time taken like Sonic. Granted, if your a regular customer, the guys know all the details about your car, (in my cc for example..they make sure they use the air compressor to blow out every drip in every crevice including under the sideview mirrors). They really take their time.
They have a supervisor in charge of the guys that are drying and doing the final details (his name is Efrin). He does a great job, and I usually hit him off every once in a while for keeping his guys on point.
The discount they gave us is bonkers, considering their Ultra Sonic wash is $25.00... If I go twice a month I make out. I'm usually there twice a week depending on the weather.
Some beautiful cars come there too. Last week I saw a RS4, Lexus isf, 911 gt, and a Rolls Royce Phantom. Always a nice show.
They even sponsered our bbq last year, giving a full detail raffle and a monthly membership for 3 months.
Generally nice people, family owned and operated.
I'd say go for it. You won't be dissappointed.![]()

congrats on the CC man
got to say, though, i've not been super stoked on them of late. last three times i've gone they've missed spots on the car (like, large areas on the roof by the antenna and lower rockers), the sealant they apply at the end has not completely rinsed off, and while they use to to ask you if you wanted them to use brushes or the mitts (mine is a BMP -- and can be a swirl fest if you look at it sideways), i had to run out last time as they were going to use brushes on the car.
as far as automated hand washes go, i guess they are the best in the area, but they definitely used to be better.

No way in hell im washing my car during the winter. I think i'll need to stop by one of the days you guys go and introduce myself. I've went a few times. I like the free coffee with the wash too with the vip card or whatever.

They really need to open a car wash like this place out in central Suffolk by me. There's a "hand car wash" out west a bit in Smithtown but they still have the old school metal tracks from what I've seen![]()

I remember the first couple of times I went to Sonic. I paid extra for the undercarriage wash every-single-time I went, until one of the employees told me on the down-low that the undercarriage wash never even worked.
The next (and last time) I took it there, I stood outside and kneeled down as my car entered the wash....the undercarriage was never even touched.
I wonder how many people paid the extra $$ for the undercarriage wash and never even got it. Wack.
In my opinion- the best car wash in Queens will always be Beverly Car Wash in Astoria Queens.
Miami Car Wash off of Northern Blvd in the Astoria/LIC area is top notch too.

If I remember correctly, a full service wash inside & out with vacuuming was $20.00. They spend a minimum of 25 minutes per car.
You don't have to worry about how low your car is because you don't drive onto a track. These places are big indoor lots...you just pull into a spot and they wash your car. They also blow dry the car with leaf blowers so you don't get water marks.

For an excellent car wash in this area, try Five Corners at the intersection of Marcus and Hillside. They do an excellent job, and give the car all the attentuion it deserves.
And no, I have no interest in the business other than as a satisfied customer.

i need something by me in medford im not driving all the way to jerico, my car will get dirty just driving back home
#31
I'm going again either Wednesday or Thursday.
My car gets dirty quick i noticed. I request they use the mits and I did a quick scratch removal on my quarter panels and trunk top and didnt notice any new scratches other than the real deep ones I had and ive been there about 2-3 times since compounding.
Some of you guys that go often post up your numbers and maybe we can hit up the place together. I could use a few tips and advice on how to get the guys to clean my car perfectly lol
