Is the demo car stock or it's someone's personal car with some toys added to it? What does it run at the track?

I probably could have picked a better camera angle for that Muller/Rossi thread-pass but this one decently shows how close to a massive crash this could have ended in.

    Hah, nice pass.

Demo car is stock, but every few years they chuck an exhaust on the demo 'Vette. Stock GS's run mid 12's at 115 or so. Quick enough.

    This was my favorite demo:

What is everyones favorite track? I really dig Road America right now, with A class cars

I need some input on not using ABS as well, it was my only aid and I just turned it off for the first time. I kept my braking at the same pressure level, 95%, and I still get occassional lockup with what feels like only 50-70% trigger. I've read that some guys actually raise their pressure to over 100%, so this confuses me, wouldn't you guys be locking brakes like crazy?

I'm trying to max out my garage (550 cars I think). I could use a cool mill, I'll put up a white MKIII GTI with black, red and yellow accents on the AH (d1rte30)

Wolf, I really could use a boost. Had to sell some cars to buy some of the cars I wanted from the last pack.

Sounds good, send me a message on Live when you're back and put up a car for 24 hours in case I don't get to it right away.

Road Atlanta just sort of speaks to me. Love that track and usually fly through it.

I find that I lock up the tires anytime I use any of my older controllers. For some reason the newer pads with the rotating d-pad seem to have more precise triggers and I never really run into any problems. No idea what to suggest for in game settings though, I never tune anything.

Sounds good, put it up today if you can, I should be on at some point this evening to pick it up.

I know I said one or two people but four have chimed in so I decided to split it amongst the group, a mil each. Put up any cheap non-dlc based car (CRX or such, whichever is cheapest) for 1 million buyout with a 24 hours auction and I'll pick it up.

Sorry to hear you had to sell some cars to get some new toys, did you get rid of anything you really regretted selling? Put up a car and send me a message to know it's on the AH.

Someone please make me a A600 Honda that's FWD and handles well.
I have a B500 CTR that is really good, the step to A class is just a mess for me. Too much power =

I have some good handling A class cars, but they are not Hondas. I can shoot one your way if you'd like.

    wolfsburgraz = the man

I just went to WorstSpend and got a new controller, it does feel more precise right off the bat. I paid the $10 Premium fee for a chrome controller since they were out of standard black, oh well. After a few races I notice the brake trigger takes more throw to get the same response as my old unit, now I see why guys are upping their brake pressure

^^ Picked up yours and Michael's cars.

Cool, I hope things work out for you with the newer controller. The chrome ones are kind of interesting. I'm using one of the MW3 ones right now but have the silver newer pad as well.

I don't have a GT. I don't know how to set it up. I have an XBOX 360.. It's black. The good one. The old style. I bought it for 400 dollars and it included forza 3 brand new and Halo Reach brand new (never played anything but Forza, lol)

I would really appreciate some sort of nice handling non-understeering A600 Honda. Honda is my highest affinity, I think it's over 20. I have Hondas for all of my races up to S class. I have:
    F: RWD EF hatch
    E: Del Sol (RWD conversion)
    D: Civic Si (EM1)
    C: CRX SiR
B: Civic Type R (EK9) [My favorite. Cuts through corners like a knife through butter.]
A: NSX Type R(nothing FWD, can't tune a good one without crazy HP to keep up with the Vettes and whatnot)
S: S2000, No S class FWD works well.

My other closest affinity is Nissan or Toyota - I use Silvias, skylines, and Supras to drift.

The chrome controller is kind of silly ... I mean, I've been using it for an hour and it's filthy and smudged to no end

The Koenigsegg CCX can go N/A and drop from R3 to S class, btw

$505,205 here, that seems a bit low considering the run-ins I had through World Tour and running no rewind and full damage since day 1. Then again, I don't race online in public lobbies (don't know if that number gets accumulated into that total).

I do know that if they counted damage in Rivals and especially track day events, I'd be into the millions.

I prefer the EK9 or DC2, but any FWD Honda that handles well, really. I appreciate this!

My B500 Ek9 handles well, it's just the power jump from B to A that really throws me off.

I like both of those platforms as well.
Thinking the DC2 may offer a tad more stability...

Thanks for the kind words guys but you're blowing it out of proportion. It just shows I play the game entirely too much instead of being more productive with my spare time. Still, I'm glad to help.

Absolutely LOVING the Shelby Series 1 in A600. I bought and built one for the modern Shelby series since the only other eligible cars were the '07 and '10 GT500's and I've already maxed my Ford affinity. Put down some pretty nice times on the few tracks in the series.

Still loving the #4 ZR1 Corvette as well in R3 800. Drives so nice.

Hurt, played with the ITR for a bit last night and I think I have a working tune for you.
It's on my Storefront, but let me know your GT and I'll gift it to you.
I was pretty worried it would just be too much to handle, and I had to tune out a bit of my usual oversteer (not a typo)
but I think it's pretty balanced now. You just have to be judicial with the throttle coming out of tight corners, but that's pretty realistic.
BTW, it handles amazingly and although you may not win any drags against the 'Vettes, you will walk right around them in the twisties.
Once in the lead, you will have no problem outpacing them and staying there.

The challenger should be the 392. I think I can live without it. So far horizon hasn't tempted me. I'll wait for the demo to see if I'm mistaken.

Kind of a lame pre-order "bonus" car ... it's cheap enough to buy in the game 100's of times over.

Paint is ok but put it on a unicorn for pre-ordering your new game T10 ...

I really enjoyed Test Drive Unlimited and Burnout Paradise so it's likely I'll enjoy Horizon too. TDU was great but the awful way the cars handled brought it down a few notches. FM4's physics engine in an open world racer really appeals to me.

That being said, gosh that's a lame pre-order bonus car. I can count on one hand the number of times I've driven a (newer) Challenger in the game on one hand, and that includes the neat but ridiculous Rampage one.

I'm going to wait to see what bonuses which Canadian retailers offer what cars before I decide where to go. In the end you'll probably be able to buy them all as a pack anyway like you could in FM4.

I guess I could just copy and paste this comment into the Horizon thread as well since it's completely relevant to everything.

I'll be preordering at GS to get the car, and because I'm going to preorder FIFA13 anyways (GS has some 10x UT gold packs, just need to decide PS3 or X360) and while there might as well just do it.

Gamestop/EB in Canada have the Merc SLS as the preorder bonus for Horizon, none of the other main vendors have revealed theirs (that I can find anyway). I'd prefer the 458 Italia but I'd rather preorder sooner than later. Note sure if LCE is worth $79.99 to me.

Quick update from me too, been trying to hammer through career mode so I can get back to a stack of games I've been ignoring while playing Forza.

Affinity is mixing up as I'm playing different events and driving the cars I want to drive rather than focusing on only getting Ford to 50.

    1. Ford - 50 - Ford GT
    2. Chevrolet - 21 - Corvette C6 Z06 (another 1.5 hours of driving the #4 ZR1 to unseat this car)
    3. Audi - 18 - #2 R18 TDI
    4. BMW - 16 - Z4 '11
    5. Porsche - 16 - #54 GT3 Cup
    6. Ferrari - 15 - 250 TR
    7. Mazda - 15 - MX-5 Gen 1 (haven't used Mazda for a while so its gradually falling)
    8. Nissan - 15 - #12 GT-R '10
    9. Dodge - 15 - Viper '08 (same as Mazda)
    0. Lamborghini - 14 - Gallardo LP570

    Career: 32.2%
    Cars: 487
    Garage Value: $229,141,850 (wow)
    Repairs: $527,713

    Perf Turn: 4,508
    Perf Drift: 32 (haha)
    Perf Pass: 4,116

    Distance Driven: 12,792.67
    Time Driven: 149 h 52 m 39 s
