    Thank you gentlemen.

Meanwhile, I landed a very rare AMG 32v DOHC M117 engine. It arrived in bits, pieces missing, considered unreliable and is known to leak like a sieve but said to sound like a symphony when turning 5-6k and tuned.

Another piece of AMG history that deserves a shot at being brought back to life.

Just discovered this thread. Have a 94 W140 500 Coupe in the family and since I'm a technician by trade I keep it in top running shape and have done a few mods but I have more of a softspot for the W126 Coupes especially the almighty Widebody AMG, the holy grail of Mercedes big body cars. I'm definitely keeping track of this thread. Great work man, great work!

    Thanks again!

AMG Private Lounge hosted a driving event at Laguna Seca in October. Our coupe was very well received amongst a sea of 70+ contemporary AMG examples.

AMG put on a spectacular event which included hot laps with a professional drivers in their AMG CLS63 and AMG SLS63. They also organized an autocross event giving visitors an opportunity to throw the AMG C63's around the course.

If anyone has more technical info on the DOHC engine or knows someone that might please let me know. The heads above are missing the intake/exhaust valve, springs, cups and keepers. Thanks in advance.

BTW, AMG themselves currently do not have any information on their early years.

If anyone has a lead please drop me a PM. Thanks!

I have these rims in a 16" however I believe they are 16x8 or 8.5 I had them on my W123 Model Mercedes back in the early 90's... back when people thought 15's were BIG I will go in the attic and double check the dimensions. Brought them over from Germany. I'll sell them if you know someone else interested in a set of these!
