I'm in for a solution too. Even with letting the car compress the mounts I still had to leave out a washer. Rides fine as far as I can tell tho.

I just ordered these at the 550 price. I already see the ads for 850. I am loooking forward to these. I had debated between the FK and these. I hope I made the right choice.
I don't post much, but when I do I make sure its a good one! Stay thirsty my friends

I previously emailed cx racing on ebay to drop the prices of the coils back to 550 and people would start buying them again. Looks like it actually worked I just bought my set. Get them while they are hot!![]()

Nick, what wheels are on your car?

According to the ebay ads that they have. It looks like the price of 550 last for 11 more days and then after that it goes up.

Yeah theyre only there for a limited time im glad a lot of people are jumping on these. Good coil for a great price, maybe they will keep them this cheap when they realize a lot of people are buying them.

What is the difference between their "Damper Coilover Suspension" and the "Suspension Race/Drift" listings on Ebay?
And they are now listed for 599. Have you guys had luck with messaging the company and getting them for 550?

for anyone who has instaled them, can u comment on how the parts that are included fit all together with the strut mount and bearing? I dont understand why they have the "spacer" and all those washers. Ive fiddled with it but cant figure it out. Anyone have any input?

i didnt use any of them lol...i used my stock hardware. the spacer and tophat they give you for the rear are soo thick

Bumping this for some much needed help. I installed these the other day and coming from rokkors I'm new to this kind of coilover. I got the rears set nicely to where I'm tucking some tire, but when I try and adjust the fronts it either ends up sitting higher or the same as it was with wheel gap. I know you move the actual body of it and not the collars, but the body of mine is pretty low to the point where the bottom of it is actually almost touching the cv boot. I'm not sure if I'm doing it the right way but can someone give me detailed instructions on how to adjust these to where I get rid of the gap? I'm about 2 inches from it and I can't figure it out.

I did the install recently on mine. What questions do you have?

Did you use all the nuts/bolts/spacers etc that they included on the front assembly? Did you use an OEM strut mount and bearing, and if so, what order did you put the parts in? Did you use a 5mm preload on the spring?
I believe I have figured out the order to assemble the fronts, but I am curious as to what peoples experience was with setting the preload on installation. The booklet included recommends setting a 5mm preload but megan coils recommend zero. Im sure setting this higher or lower can significantly change the ride so I hope some people can chime in what they set theirs at.

I did use new oem strut bearings and bushings for the front and rear. The setup for the front was bearing, bushing, install, then metal top cap, spacer, then nut. As for preload, I did not preload them at all. I left them snug enough to not have a preload on them. When I adjusted the height of them I measured from the bottom of the top adjustment collar to the top of the bottom lock collar. I think a good starting point for the ride height with my adjustments are 2.5" up front and 3" in the back. I will try to get a pic of my Hooptie later on.

the difference between the two they offer are the spring rates.
I opted for the stiffer spring rates.

btw my weitecs are for sale if anyone is interested dampening and all that jazz.

if you don't have the loot to spend on h&r, ksport or b&g these should be the only alternative. I've had a lot of different coilovers and these are by far the best. rides comfortable while being retarded low.
