There's more. Some just are too sissy to put them on in the cold.

This thread convinced me to order a set of ultimos
UPS says they'll be here the 21st and already have it setup to put them on on the 23rd. Can't wait. I'll post up review of how they are compared to my current fk spring and shock setup

I jumped the gun and went into summer mode today.

Sitting at 24" all around. Still with everything installed.

Since my Ultimo install I have put in the Hotckis sway kit and Euro Image 1" motor mount spacers. Both something I would highly recommend. I have the Euroimage tie rod flip kit waiting to be installed (I meant to do it today, but I forgot to put them in) and I need to notch my frame to go any lower in the front.

Cheap whores have been around the block a little more so they know how to work it better. So IMO you would get a pretty good ride for little dollar. But thats besides the point, I don't mind my rokkors on my VR MK3. For the dollar they get the job done.

The rokkors have a higher rate over Racelands, and the Ultimos are supposed to be even higher, so im interested to see the results on a vr

the only discrepancy i have with the rokkors is that once they are at their lowest setting they ride like absolute garbage/really stiff/ feel every little imperfection in the road due to the lack of room for the suspension to travel, but im sure that is how most coils are. i have them about 1.5 from their lowest setting for winter and they actually ride pretty good.

I havent been under 24 yet but im assuming when you are low you want them to be stiff?

beautiful. stance is on point. The whole car is on point IMO. I really like how far apart you set your roof racks too, it takes away all the goofiness of OEM racks. They just look silly to me when they are all close together.

How do they ride for you like that? Any rubbing issues so far?

The ride wasn't bad. I had 4 wheels and a jack in the back and had no complaints about the comfort. I no longer have the stock sway so no issues rubbing there. Spun all the way down I was hitting frame bad though. I'd like to notch my frame and get my front 1/2" lower.

Look into getting your frame notched. I cant get under 24 in the front with the motor mount spacers
