So i dont know why i heven't got on here before, but i live in Grand Junction and been trying to find some dubbers here that arent passing buy or just see the car in a parking lot.
you may have seen me, i drive the MKIV jetta tdi dark red with a black hood, steelies and straight piped.

Trying to get 4 ball joints and an axle replaced on the 4k before treffen, money is tight but the S30 (i'm sure its old enough lol) is running like a champ on its new head gasket, so well in fact, I plan on maxing out the timing today and massaging the fuel map a bit.

Just drove the Corrado from Fort Collins to Durango. So I'm officially a westslope 'dubber

I did get stopped for 23mph over coming down wolf creek pass, but the State Patrol officer nicely bumped it down to 19 to keep me from the next level of punishment.

Why is it 45 coming down that hill? The corners aren't nearly as fun at that speed.

Probably the same cop that nailed me years ago in my Scirocco. "Nicely" dropped mine down as well.
He walked up and said in a jovial voice "I had 83 what'd you have?"
That day there was construction and they had the pass shut down to one lane. So we waited 45 minutes for the other direction to clear and then were let go. After passing a few people I realised I WAS OUT FRONT! There were no other cars in front of me.
Much more fun than at 45mph...

Very nice rabbit there/\/\/\ didnt see it befor, my 82 is currently awating here turbo diesel transplant.. The b3 has taken up all my time!

When is the salida drive? Im only 30 minutes from there and would love to cruise with some dubbers... although i may have to drive my audi since the rabbit is on blocks awaiting suspension and diesel injectors and the tdi bus blew its tranny, too much damn torque for a 74 transmission.

it's cool to see everyone coming out of the western woodwork. I've been working in the basalt/gypsum area all summer so if you guys see a red 4kq in that area it's probly me. speaking of, I was finishing up work on monday, driving on cottonwood pass when what did I see but a very clean red coupe quattro pass by. I doubt I'll find them here but what a beautiful car

I like the cruise too treffin idea. maybe meet in glenwood and take independence pass down to salida? then us junction peeps can take 50 all the way home

Just got home from DATR n had a blast!! me n rich tore it up what a blast.. n the ol' b3 took home best in class honers!! pritty pumped about that, def be coming back next year hopfully with an even more killer b3

im up here in durango.... i have the loud ass vw beetle thats white with lame ass XXR 002 wheels on it. but its got a vanagon waterboxer motor in it on megasquirt. nothing too special as of yet.. lol us durango people need to get some gtg's going. how about lets start the first one this friday night???

I know your out there.. come on i see you all the time ( dark grey R32, yellow 20th, blue Gti, red mrk 2, white caged mk1) and all i ever see is you guys driving... we need to cruze or work on some cars guys, if you out there HIT ME UP!!!!, im old school so i rep the mrk 2 all day
So since the buzz has been starting to generate pritty quickly here in the west acouple of us out here wanted to put this out there, me and Rich and a couple other dudes are wanting to try and have acouple GTG befor cold sets in along with one more gret cruze! Anyone euro cars welcome, durango,southeast utah,glenwood any and all guys feel free to come, id like to have a gtg at our track if posseble then we can set up the cruize however u guus like, i know we have the cars n ppl out here we just gotta get in gear! Throw some feed back at me and we can set up some dates to do this, hurry winters just around the corner! I know rich has talked to a few ppl here in junction so were slowly comin together
