So I'm trying to trouble shoot why my 85 Golf and why it won't start. I'm having trouble finding the Glow Plug fuse. I've looked in the engine bay and I don't see it. I've also checked on the interior firewall. Will some point me in the right direction.

Where does the thick red wire on the right end side of the copper glow plug buss bar lead to?

The only thick red wires I have is to the starter and from the alt. to the battery.

The buss bar has to be getting power from somewhere... there will be one or more wires, usually red with a white strip, at the end of the buss bar. Where do they go?

While you're at it... regardless of the fuse you can start troubleshooting by checking for power at the buss bar itself.

That is the glow plug fuse in with the relays. Be sure to check/clean the connections and fuse for corrosion. I had corrosion prevent voltage getting to glow plugs with a good fuse on my 85 Golf.
