    In our opinion, the Jetta does need help, but fortunately the help doesn't need to be major. The proportions are attractive and there are some distinct B8 A4 cues. Our J6 with just a reasonably lowered suspension and more aggressive wheels and tires has already made more than a few people say things like, "You know, that's actually a pretty good looking car," or, "Wow, that looks more like an Audi than I realized."

    The headlights and grille are a bit boring, the rear bumper is too Camry-esque, and those front fangs are, in our opinion, potential deal-breakers. But as luck would have it, we have fixes planned for all of that

    what is the chassis classification for the new Jetta, since it's not golf-based anymore, it's not an "A"...it's not a "B" or "C"...

    It's still the A6 (PQ36) platform, but unlike the Golf 6, which is PQ36, the Jetta 6 is PQ36 LC.
