Count me in. Canon myself as well. What lenses you bringing? I'm going to have a 17-40L, 70-400L, a 50mm (the non L), and a 15mm fish eye (debating picking up a tilt-shift for shi's and giggles). My bodies are a 7D and XSi.

I'm bringing my 24-70L, 10-22mm, 70-200mm, 50mm 1.4 and maybe the macro 100mm.

I've wanted a fisheye for sooooo long, but haven't been able to bring myself to make the plunge (so awesomely cool, but so much $$)

I have a go pro (non hd) but the thing is ridiculously flaky. I'll see if I can borrow one that actually works. I also have a homemade rig for my headrest to use my regular camcorder that doesn't work too bad.

Starting my new job (yay!!) on Monday so I'll find out if I'm in for the longer or shorter version of WitW

Michelle, i got a HD go pro for christmas that i will be bringing with me to use and share. i think the 16gb memory card should have enough space for multiple uses throughout the weekend.

Anyway, USFOR-A S J8 beginning of october to december, currently RC-S CJ8. AKA budgeting and accounting. you wouldnt believe the amount of money ive processed by myself in the past 5 months. actually, maybe you would lol.

EDIT: i just looked up the MSRP for the 04 and 08 R32's. i could buy all 10,000 US spec R32s and have PLENTY of change with that money ^^ what a collection THAT would be...

As for the GoPro HD, I have one. I always bring it, I always tell myself I'll make video, I always make video, then I realize how insanely boring watching yourself drive is. So I end up ditching my footage.

Unless you're a real whiz-banger at a movie software package, the amount of entertainment you can extract from watching yourself drive is fairly minimal, I fear. I always feel like if I could lower my IQ about 50 points, I'd enjoy the video more, but as it stands, being a well educated man of science and nature, I just kind of glaze over watching myself drive.

Ya know how ya can't tickle yourself? It's sort of the same way watching yourself drive.

I ran 2 last year on OrlandoR's car and mine. Mostly just driving footage.

To do a really nice video. Well... it takes some preproduction since all I wanted to do was drive not hang out and watch others drive. Besides a lot of the cool areas don't really allow for one to really setup. But it's doable.

Very well said... It's just never exciting enough for me to sit for hours and edit it all. It's cool to look back after some time, when the memory fade a bit.
