This is my favorite in my little collection.Modified 10 turn W/rebuilt Vxl transmission gears slash front bumper it receives a beating often and never complains running WheelyKing rear tires and jato fronts in this pic.

Finally got an r/c Vw together. It's a modified tamiya Df-02 buggy chassis with a proline body and hpi wheels and tires. It goes ok with the 18t in it, fun to drive, but would need more upgrades to handle any more power. Took it for it's first run today at a Vw show, it fit right in!

I'm enjoying it quite a bit actually. I have some hop ups coming today, but the first thing was the steering. If you've seen the reviews, it's entirely too flexible. I don't have any true crawling terrain close by so most of what I've done is trail and I'm having a blast with it. I'm running it with a 2s lipo and it's doing great.

RPP rocks (pun intentional) also RC4WD is great. I like to compare those 2 before buying. I also like to check Google Shopping if I've got a specific part number.

ive had bad luck with rc4wd. ya they have killer products but their cust service isnt all that great. ive ordered parts from them that were on line only to get an email a week later sayn they were back ordered and i had to fight to get my $ back. where as with rpp i made a mistake and ordered a part that i thought was instock when it was out of stock and i called them late in the afternoon and spoke with corey and he said i will get a full refund on the part that was backordered the next day because all of his people from the accounting dept had left for the day he was very polite and understanding cant say the same for rc4wd or tcs plus one thing i love bout rpp is how dang fast my stuff gets here with the cheep shipping cuz im a cheep sob

I have had good luck with both, but almost prefer RPP. I know rc4wd is alot of one off stuff, so it takes time to get larger quantities of things. Definately loving Rc4wd dually wheels!! Photos to come soon...

i think the kit version you had to supply your own motor and electronics i know the rtr version before it got disco came with a 27t and was a tad fast for it. i had a 35t in mine when i had it and i loved it just the right amount of speed and torque
