Yea but you never know, otherwise just wait in the engine classifieds or a part-out in the MKIV section. Something is bound to pop up b/c they are abundant which also = inexpensive.

Speaking of shops, a friend just bought a 2010 Jetta and I'm looking for a VW shop to recommend for her in Boynton Beach. I have a bunch I can recommend in Broward but I don't want her to have to drive down there and I'd rather not see her get screwed at a dealer, if they take Extended Warranties that would be even better.

That being said, whatup all my northern brothers... how y'all been?

There is nothing in Boynton to recommend, independent repair shops included, other than staying far away from Maroone.

X2 ^^ I don't know of anywhere I'd really recommend except one place in the treasure coast but that's just as far of a drive as to Broward. I just end up doing all of the work.

The muffler/exhaust place on Okeechobee across from Braman BMW is the best place around here.

I've been unfortunate to have worked for 2 or 3 companies, that were taken over, with the exact same business model as Maroone. They look at it like the customer is a captive consumer & has no where else to go, so screw them as hard as you can, they can complain all they want, but will have to take it because they are the only dealership for miles. It's just not Maroone VW, it's every Maroone dealership doing it. Greed starts at the top.

Well that sucks, I didn't know about the lack of independent shops up there but I did know about Maroone, she bought an extended service plan so cost won't be as much of an issue i just don't trust the techs at CarMax.

Yup, so don't try to BS a BS'er. I'm amazed they are still in business with their track record, but not taking responsibility for anything they break, blow up, seize, or burn is probably the part of the business plan that has allowed them to survive.

Meet is usually out in Wellington (info on first page). Usually only a few people go, but occassionally there will be a photoshoot or something going on.

LoL I'm working on getting a roof rack and possibly some wheels. Right now it's completely stock with just dark tint all the way around.

So I'm trying to get back into the game and see what's new and meet new people up here in Wellington lol
