Man, I haven't updated this in forever.

Replaced the lower control arms on both sides, both outter tie rods, put my Stern adjustable upper control arms on and I still have a weird noise in my drivers side front. I am going to have my alignment shop 0 out the subframe and tie rods and tell them to leave the subframe and go from there. It acts as if they shifted it a tad bit too far. We'll see.

I cleaned up the car and have just done random things:

-Put new inner fenders in the front because the ones that came on it were cut and destroyed and had over spray all over them.

-I installed some black s4 seats I picked up.

-I also installed another console setup, this one has all of its mounting brackets.

-bought a new core support for it so the snub mount will be in the right place

-bought a set of door sills for it because the car had none

-installed my JL Clean Sweep and my L5 12 just for some calm beats

-painted my fogs yellow with Nic's can of paint

The biggest thing is, the car goes into paint (well the front end, the rest will slowly get worked on) as soon as I can get the fenders/quarters all rolled enough!

Works been so busy at both my 9-5 and the shop that I haven't had much time to even look at it.

      yes

I got them from a local guy parting a car. 30 each he pulled them (he had experience and the only set i have ever removed are from my black car and I didnt need to keep them so i messed them up)

Everyone who was parted a face lift car in the classifieds was all about pulling them, then would disappear and never let me konw they were pulled.. I am talking, i searched since I drug the car home in Jan for a set of door sills.

new they are roughly 180 each.

But if I go s4's I have to cut them or remove them anyways right? I'm sure I can pick up a set of those for less than two door sills if I search

You mean s4 skirts? you'd need s4 door sills which dont have the rubber that hang over.. you can cut them but its hard.. i mean, VERY hard to keep it all nice.. i used probably the sharpest blade i've ever seen.. we use it to cut 12" thick fiberglass insulation batts in 1 light slice and it still couldnt do the job.

point is.. my black car has no door sills and s4 skirts... and when you wash the car, the carpet/lower trim gets soaked b/c there is nothing to block the water.
