What's the difference between these and the non-GLI version? Looking to get front+rear for my '08 Jetta Wolfsburg.

Because of the sideskirts and rear valance on the GLI models, the shape of the GLI versions are different from the standard Jetta versions.

Are you willing to work on the non-GLI price?

Unfortunately the non-GLI versions are not currently on sale, so the pricing on the website is the best we can offer.

...any hope in thinking that there will eventually be a sale on the GLI lower-valence/side skirts package, so I can justify buying this at a much earlier time than the GLI package?

Unfortunately I'm not sure if the GLI / Votex items for the Mk5 Jetta will go on sale or not, at this point I would say it is unlikely, but I will certainly get them posted up if they do.

Yes, these will fit the GLI models that came with the Votex pieces from the factory, or a Jetta that upgraded the the GLI side skirts and rear. They are made to work with the Votex pieces, thus they will not fit correctly on the base model Jetta.

I will say that the fitment of these is great, installtion is a snap, and I like how they look.

Here's a picture for reference, hard to see them, but gives an idea...

Here, i went outside and took some pictures of the mudflaps, my car is dirty, so sorry about that, with all this rain lately, I didn't feel like washing it. I honestly have no complaints whatsoever, they hold up greater than expected, I have hit some bumps and expected to see a mudflap in my rearview mirror, but they stay on, and I didn't even install them per the instructions

    Front

Here you can see the tab showing that needs to be anchored that I reference below, that would have solved any issues, but I was a tad lazy at the time.

Here is the only fitment issue, but if you installed them properly, you'd be alright. I chose to only install with the screws, and didn't anchor the tab at the top of the mudflap, as directed. They were fine until I scraped the flaps on stuff.

Here are two pictures of what the rear flaps look like, I did these correctly, so fitment is 100%.
