I have been looking at different turbos recently and I notice hoe the TDI's use VGT (variable Geometry).
Why is this not offered in applications for petrol engines? It just seems like such a good Idea. You et the spool of a small turbo the the vanes move and you get the output of a larger unit. Seems to me like it's almost like having a twin turbo setup with one small and one large to cut down on lag.
