The day I got her. Made a journey all the way to Cleveland from Detroit to pick it up. $4200.
Another one of the day I got it.
When i first started doing the interior...
After it was done.
Motor Pull:
The night that started it all...
After many brews, a few long nights after work, i got to this point.
Got the motor out and on its way to have it bored .020 over, Eagle rods, all new bearings, and have everything double checked. I ordered all new plastics and every kind of gasket i could. In the mean time, i took the liberty of doing an AC Delete, and shaving a few things on the engine bay.
Here marks the begining of my mini shave, i just took metal filler and and applied to all of the little rivets and joints i wanted to smooth, sanded till i saw fit and painted.

Dual rear fog mod? And I have the race springs which is a 1.75" drop in front and 2" in back, but im putting 1" bigger rims on it, so idk. Id like to get some coilovers. But im broke, Do you have a diy on the Dual rear fog mod?
I got 99 problems, and my b5 be all of em.

you have 2 foglight buttons, the left one is for you fronts, yours are built into your headlights, the right one is for front and back. stock, b5s only have a driver's side rear fog. you have to take out your passenger side light and dremel out a hole for a bulb, thats it. the wiring is already there

IS there a way i can hide some of these engine tubes and hoses? I like the look of stuff being shaved but i know theres no way to hide everything, just some of it would be nice.

You could delete some vacuum hoses and such to clean up a bit...if thats what you mean.
Also, doesnt really matter what size wheels you have as far as wheel gap..if anything the smaller wheels with bigger tires make the wheel gap look smaller.
This is coming from someone who did the race springs and went to coilovers after. I hear you on the student aspect, it sucks I know.

Ahahah i know the engine is ugly, but since i have to have my head redone, i have to take the valve cover off, so its getting powdercoated matte black, and the 034 2.0 valve cover will be going on. Just plain ole stainless steel. and yes being a student sucks. thats for D@#$ sure,i used to have all kinds of cash to drop on my car before that and now im broke as a joke. But after i get those simple engine mods coilovers will be next. I just got the coils to get rid of the 4x4 stance and it was in my budget.

you wont be able to do the dual rear foglights unless you get the facelift headlights and bulb trays, i was dissapointed also

his is a 98, im not sure how the half years work on older a4s, but i was able to do it on my old 98 2.8

If you do the dual rear fog mod, please, for the love of god do not drive around with it on all the time. There's a kid in my town who does that and it is ridiculously obnoxious.

I think the colors are cool, and it looks like you did a good job painting them. I'm not sure if they are gonna look good on your car though.

Me neither, But it was a fun project and only costed me $30.

In that case you win.
I painted 2 of my wheels one week put them on the car, rolled around with two painted two non painted for a week. Then the next week I went to paint the other two And I realized I lost my wheel lock key, so I cant take the wheels off to paint them. I've been rolling around with two painted wheels and two originals for about a month now. Still haven't found the key.
I lose.
