I did something similar but not as severe, AHaha, i painted 2 of my swings Red just to stand out, and then the lovely michigan weather went from 50 to 20 in a day so i couldnt finish the other two, but fortunately and unfortunately, my car is stuck in the garage due to a collapsed lifter and the motor being torn apart. But right now i have 2 red swings, and 2 graphite ones. ahaha.

And cant you take a socket thats close to the lock and hammer it on, then turn? My old auto tech teacher said thats how he used to boost wheels from people. hahahaha learned alot about cars from that guy. Moreso how to steal them.

Yeah I read that a few places when I originally panicked and didn't know what to do. I just honestly havent cared enough to try, the weather has been so poopy lately. I might try tomorrow, if that doesn't work I'll just break them out.

Or deflate both tires, and jam a deck of cards inbetween the rim and the wheel, sand down, paint, and clearcoat. Ahaha, wont be an A+ job but people wont notice from a distance. Itll buy you some time, and would a locksmith be able to get into something like that?

Didn't think about a locksmith. But I think I'd rather not pay and just break it out. I don't have a use for them anyway.

They are just stock swings, winter beaters. I have "thepirates" old AMG's that are in the works of getting on the car for summer. I hope I'll be able to have them on by the time summer starts.

Yep, those are them. I'm not keeping them purple though. I have other plans for them, but Chris kept them in very good condition, couldn't be more pleased.

I like the newer Merc wheels. They are the 5spoke, kind of look like the split spoke audi wheels but a little more aggressive. Come on the brand new Mercs. Those would be schweet in a flat black with a nice accent color.

Ahahah i have a set of Celebs, Swings, i have the green set of AT ITalias. Then tomorrow im trading the set of Swings for a set of Rondalls, Which are a knockoff BBS style rim. Pics tomorrow, Those are probably gonna be lime green too. and im Putting Pirelli P6s on em for the meantime. I just got a job at a powdercoat shop so i should be golden.

Yeah thanks, haha its mostly harleys but he does some cars. I kind of want to do a candy color on the swings bc I've never seen it done before but I'm scared as to if it'll look like garb.

If you get a good discount or something do it. Otherwise don't waste the money on the swings, do it on a better set of wheels.

Mercedes wheels are back in the shop, Finally, i missed them terribly, Just gotta Use the lathe to machine down the Hub centric rings from 72.62mm down to mercedes size to save a few pennies. Then i have 2 Brand new Pirelli Pzero Nero tires, and gonna pick up 2 more as soon as i can sell something. I have 4 sets of rims, 3 sets of tires, and alot of misc stuff. I need to get 2 8 or 10mm spacers, I have bolts but need the spacers.

What the wheels will look like when theyre on my slammed car, except the chrome trim ring might come off and the center cap will be painted body color. Different and most of you will probably hate it but its my car.

These are my motor troubles, Oil had a slight metallic tint, Rod bearing or main bearing? Would i be better off replacing the motor, lemme hear your guys ideas, motor has 101k.

It looks so bare. But its going to the machine shop to be completely rebuilt with all the fixins, having the alternator taken apart so i can powdercoat the housing same color as my intake, and valve cover since its noticable, Powdercoating the exhaust manifold and downpipe black, and wrapping the downpipe, then powdercoating the sway bar, engine mounts, and a bunch of other goodies..



After i painted the frame rails, subframe and sway bar. Having a buddy come over and smooth the firewall out a little bit, filll in some holes, and were gonna drill some new ones, order grommets and reroute some wires. Anyone have any advice on thiss kinda fun stuff, and what i should do to get rid of some of these wires.

1piece headlights! Pfutzen means Puddles, because I bent 2 rods in what i thought was a puddle, it was actually a small lake, hence the motor rebuild
