    price reflects the level of detail that went into the sternes alone. plated and polished windows, faces and rear of sternes.

    NO half arsing on these like I have seen on other sets.

    The time and money that went into these are unlike most "fully chromed" multi piece wheels...as every "window" was polished after every plating bath. Its not necessarily the plating process that costs money, its the MAN HOURS of polishing put into each sterne. Most people just polish the sterne face. These are polished in the back, front, inside, EVERYWHERE.

    It definitely does, I should have known that bit of info, as I am a polisher myself, and have a great plater, I use.
