next up was to split the rims as i done a deal with a lad on another fourm for my 2.5" lips for his 4" ones..

then i painted the barrels silver and one centre pink just to see what it was gonna look like.. an decide not to do it as its sort of gettin a bit played out now... so what yo all think of the colour i went for in the end up..?

i also got 10mm took off the rears as with then being 11j there some serious poke going on out back!! so the next job is to pull the rear arches

yeah would of been far better, but its not that big of a deal as ive my own bodyshop and theres loads of paint left from the respray

i knew this car would get mixed feeling on here cus of the massive amount of poke etc.. but when the arches are worked it should tone it down a bit! i myself love poke, later on in the year in gonna pull the front arches too and go 9.5's up front just collected a complete GTI front bumper there, will get pics up later. should have time later on in the week to get it painted and fitted

Did you do any customizing on the exterior, other than change the paint? In one pic it looks like the rub strips were smoothed on the left side, but not on the right. Can't knock ya for doing what you want. Good progress.

no nothin customized on the exterior apart from the colour change, GTI kit and a blue line on the grill with i will get done this week, to match the wheels and bring the blue onto the car a bit.. i started to remove the rub strips and changed my mind, gonna keep it simple
