in the first week i basically transferred all the parts i had on my previous a4....bilstein shocks and h&r sport springs, tectonics tuning cat-back exhaust, euro lighting front and back...

then later on i painted my front grille

after a LOT of sanding, the primer went on...

      here it was fresh...

then later i made my biggest purchase to date....with my mk2 TT wheels and new tyres

specs are 18x9 ET52 running 12mm spacers up front and 15mm in the back.

as u can tell by now i like to take shots of my car

here are some random shots from the last year of ownership

for some reason the silver that came on these earlier a4's looks kinda light blue in darker light...reminds me of the avus silver from the rs4

here it was after the wash

      some of the booty

This was a shot i took with my friend's camera from a local meet this past summer. However the REV scene around here is wholly dominated by JDM so if there was a prize for "only b5 a4 present" I would definitely have won it

and yes i know picture overload!! but hey, everyone likes pics....and i wanna get the timeline moving along so i can catch up with wat has been going on more recently......

before winter i gave her a real good waxing and ofcourse had a shoot...here are some of my best ones:

      My plans are to:

      - Address the stance with some Vogtland coils
      - Exterior body changes (you will have to wait and see )
      - And my timeline title does not lie....I do plan to make it a 'silverbullet' with a PES supercharger system further down the line.....that will entail other things such as brake upgrades...new clutch lol but i don't wanna say too much in case my fiance finds this forum

The car looks real good, I need to take my grille off and paint it as well, looks so much better especially on the silver cars.

I enjoy silver and I enjoy this car! Excellent work, however I do agree with James here, the car needs to go down another inch or so and smaller tires need to be had! Besides that keep on going

heh yes im enjoying silver definitely....the front end is far from perfect (in terms of paint) but u can only tell when you get real real close.

Hopefully the Vogtland coils im planning on picking up will adress the height issue

@ MattertheMadHatter (interesting name..) I sanded the chrome with a 1000 grit i believe...i did it quite a while ago and cannot remember it still came out looking slightly (orange peely) but i will revise the grille at a later date since now i had a friggin rock chip take a chunk of my lovely black paintjob

      OK small update:

Today i planned to change my coolant temp sensor and clean my intake butterfly valve. This tested my patience immensely as my tools were either too small or too big....human hands are too big to work in the 2.8 engine bay. Needless to say i aborted the intake valve cleaning and tried to change the coolant temp sensor the hard way....boy was it a PITA my hands hurt now but at least it's done....enjoy the pics!

here is wat greeted me this morning

      right bank

      left bank

needless to say, my valve cover gaskets need replacing

i ended up taking out the whole intake box to clean coz it was full of crap and sediments
lol so much room here without the factory airbox

      now fresh and clean

everyone meet timmy the wire - he and I became very good friends when i lost something behind the engine and he helped me get it back!

      EWWWWW

When i saw the state of my engine bay I honestly did not feel like taking any pictures.....but now I'm determined to clean it all up..it has been neglected unfortunately.....i had to settle for just cleaning the center engine cover

oh btw - does anyone here know of an easier way to remove that 5mm allen bolt that holds the hard plastic intake tunnel to the intake manifold? (it is so hard to reach i couldnt even take a pic good enough to show u luckily this guy has - http://www.audiworld.com/tech/pics/eng109_tbclean2.jpg

i for one thinjk your height is pretty much perfect. i best like when the wheel appears to be a uniform distance from the well all round + wheels matching the line of the fender flare making this one well done job. and those wheels match the b5 supergood.

well i was expecting it and the cel that i got a couple days ago turned out that it was my passenger side cat that is pooched.....unfortunately for me i have to get on it immediately as my car will not pass aircare with the damn cel lit......anyway i would buy a new cat just to not hear the random rattling....which is weird coz it almost goes away when it's fully warmed up

oh yeah I didn't even think about that. they mount up at the same spots but the a4 flaps probably just don't have big enough openings for the s4 skirts/molding. you could probably trim them to make them fit. if you even care to keep them. I bought the whole set of four s4 flaps from ecs for $5 but I don't think they have that deal any more..
my s4 skirts are mostly velcroed on

the guy i bought them off was a bit of a 'do-it-yourself' kinda guy and he said he bought most of the hardware from hardware store (nuts and industrial velcro). However i was pricing out some of the brackets....i think the rears are kinda important they were about $70 each from dealership and the front ones about $40 each it tends to add up

i think lazerviking said he screwed them in at the ends and just used velcro down the body of the car...i hope it's that easy

I don't know how much of a difference the front brackets make. the rears seem like they'd be more important. I don't have them on mine and it stays on fine but you can tell something is missing where the rear bracket should be. mine are being held up with the front two bolts, a few random bolts on the bottom that might not even make a difference and about $15 worth of industrial velcro... pretty ghetto install but I've had them like that for a few months and they've held on perfectly fine

In plug the cats fromm the harnesses and pull out the down pipe with then still attached, you'll have more room to try and get them out. Also run to the auto store and get some pb blaster. That stuff does amazing things
