Those pics are pretty damn close. The cars looking good, you really do need a little bit smaller of a tire though.

    Those pics are awesome!

How long is your snow season up there? I'm hoping it's over by now!

Oh, and what kind of camera do you use? I think you've mentioned it before but I'm to lazy to search lol.

usually our season for local vancouver mountains is mid-march...this year we had really good conditions and we still have snow but they probably closed by now. We haven't really had much snow at the city..starting to warm up

thx frankie, i have a Nikon D60 with the 18-55 Kit lens...was using a circular polarizer as well.....my tripod is garbage tho...there was a slight breeze most of the photos were coming out blurry

Michael, as always, love the pics!

I as well have a nikon (It's my friends actually but I'm kinda permanently borrowing it :p till he asks for it back anyways ) d3000 with the 18-55. I plan on getting a d80 off of ebay by the end of the summer maybe.

You're pics though are really good. I love the composition and lighting of a lot of the dusk shots. Can't wait to show you some pictures I took now! You've inspired me

    Any urban / city shots?

That's perfect, I was offered a used rebel xsi with the 18-55 kit lens and wasn't sure if I wanted it or not. You just helped me decide though with these pics, Thanks bud!

i havent really got any city urban shots...the closest are in the shipping yard on the previous page....the d80 is not a bad camera but getting a bit dated....the d90 is very close the getting a big price cut since it is due to be discontinued...thats the one im following!

and Frankie the canons are just as good in terms of picture quality but i find the big difference with the nikons especially if you are looking d5000 and up...is the their bodies feel much more expensive...the camera has a layout that is 1 million times better and also their menus make lots of sense and using the camera becomes second nature in no time

oh and thx for the comments...i try to find good angles....not so crazy about editing tho so i just try to get a god pic to begin with

    ^^^

True story about the differences between Nikon and cannon. I too have always felt at least for the average cameras the Nikon's feel much more durable than Canon's and the layout is much more intuitive. How much do you think the d90s will be going for? I'd like to get a good 50mm lens with more aperature and a camera that can handle higher. ISO settings with less grain.

I tried getting some rolling shots yesterday. Lets just say they were absolutely horrible!

On a side note, did you put the s4 side skirts on yet? Couldn't tell in the picture. I am on my cell phone at work tho :p

yea my only complaint with the d60 is that it cannot take very good pics in low light...at least with the kit lens....i cannot put it above ISO 400 or it will get horrible noise....yea i have my eye on the 50mm 1.4D lens they are roughly $300 but an awesome wide angle fixed prime lens. The D90 body should be crashing soon to somewhere around $500-$600 range. I bug the guys at work everyday in the camera department if it has been discounted yet

and the about the s4 skirts...no not yet...im planning something that involves both the front and rear bumper and would like to do it all at once...i think first will be my clutch and brakes tho

Where do you plan on doing your clutch at?

I really don't want to do mine myself but I think I may have too since I'm broke. I hope everything works out for you too so you can get your car the way you want it!

those are valeo 1 piece euro projectors ( what the european facelift models have...technically they get bosch ones but oh well)

your best bet is to get 'depot ecodes' for the price and look is the same then get an HID kit.

i think i will attempt to do it myself....since: a) I have a new friend with a hoist and b) I am also broke no idea where ill get it from yet....wherever i can get a clutch and flywheel kit for cheapest for oem...i might go for a slightly stronger clutch

well here is a bit of an update guys...not much new with the car...got some new exhaust tips dual 3 inch angle cut dual wall design...I will post up some pics of the recent cruise i went to....You guys might have heard of it. On Saturday 18th of June was 'Leavenworth 2011' usually an event that draws 600 cars from the PNW to Seattle and then we cruise to the little Bavarian town called Leavenworth. This year despite the rain....there were 1000+ cars that came out....it was pretty awesome...so here are some pics ( warning some non b5- content )

    (imo best car there!)

brakes the size of planets lol

lol when you cant decide what wheels to put on this is what happens

woohoo another decent looking b5!!! (there was some shockers there )

Made it up to Steven's Pass where we could see snow...yes snow...it was a balmy 7 degrees centigrade...the stop could not come soon enough because my oil temp began to climb lol
Up in this parking lot were some tents with H&R giving out freebies it was really cool! and also cool to see different cars!

    i very much like

My bro realized he was freezing so he was goin back into the car lol

i am not exaggerating....only 15-20 mins of driving later it was sunny and 25 degrees

PPL rolling in...and they kept rolling in for 3 hours lol

Hands down favourite shot of my car at the moment

(yes i messed with the colour a bit )

needless to say it was beautiful there!

and one last one ( my bro's best pic )

    Wow!!!

These pictures are awesome and that town looks sooo cool! This place is only 2,425 miles from me. Maybe next year if gas prices drop I might take a road trip to the west coast. I've always wanted to do that and next year will probably be the last time I'll be able to do that. I'll be in my second to last semester of school. I can just have my classmates turn in my homework for me lol. I soooo wanna go there!

Anyways the new exhaust tip looks pretty nice too! How far did you have to drive to get there?

thanks Wes! It was my first proper cruise and it was somewhat dampened by the rain in the morning but the sight of the quaint little town being chocked by Bavarian beauties was something to behold

oh hehehe....the wheels are 18's the only reason they look bigger is you are running 17 with big tyres...also the bodykit tends to make the car look bigger and wheel arches bigger which makes wheels looks smaller
