This past weekend I went down with the Untitled Crew to West Coast Worthersee in Buellton, Ca.
Here are some pictures from the show with the newest additions to Tiggy!

...And I won the "Most Wheel Gap Award" hahaha That will be changed soon!

What are you planning on doing? Springs, coilovers?

I'm waiting on some H&R springs that are backordered, they are supposed to be here at the end of the month.

Well I was planning on getting the B&G springs...I ordered them and then found out they are backordered for 2 months...so I canceled the order and I'm planning on either re-ordering them or saving up for some coilovers...hmmmmmmm

I hate when something you really want is backordered!!!v

It all depends on what you want to do, H&R i think lower at 1.3" and B&G go down 1.6"
Coil overs are great when you have the money, If i was still on the east coast definitely coilovers.
I had them on my other car and could adjust for before the snow hits. Now that i'm on the Westcoast
Just aimed for the simple drop and did not want to sacrifice driveability when it's down too low.
    Here's a link to my B&G setup: http://www.socaleuro.com/forum/showt...on-a-VW-Tiguan

I don't have any good quality pictures of the back but i'll take some this weekend and put them up! The tail lights are Lamin-X http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-...hts/ES1873399/

I'm loving the look of the all red I just wish that stuff was easier to put on! Pretty tough considering all the angles they have.

B&G springs will definitely make a visible difference, i hear good things about the ride quality too. just remember, lowering can be addictive for some. i'd take the Coils over the springs so there is an option to lower/raise as u see fit
Dont get B&G anything...doesnt matter which application u use them with.

I've had multiple very good experiences with B&G coilovers.

What's your reasoning for banning their entire lineup?

Perhaps Tiguans are diff, but Ive ran Springs on M y R and that was a no go....they ended up being so soft i hit a decent bump in NY and the Shock Piston tore through the brand new Strut Mount damn enar ruinng the newly painted hood i got repsrayed.

Ive riden n friends cars with the Coils and ive never liked the way they rode. MK4 JETTA/GTI/Beetle, a MK5 GTI. Jsut not a huge fan and perhaps saying the entire lineup sucks was jumping the gun, so sory.

NY roads just suck... But it sounds like it may have been a bad install, no offence to the installer. But as far as the ride quality of the coils is concerned, ur right on the money. B+G's coilover design sounds good on paper but it isnt as comfy as it's advertised.

@monicups. Both of ur options are good ones, H&R and KW both make great products. KWs go a bit lower tho just saying

The roads do suck, i agree but not a bad install, i assure you. The shock ended up being stiffer than the spring, i could compress them with my hands, thats no good, Comfortable on a flat road but didnt handle worth a damn otherwise.

lol, on a side note, i jsut noticed the GTI, thats great. For some reason and no offense but i feel your Tiguan should have bigger tires. it just seems too small, im sure its me but i wonder how that would look.

The painted roof looks awesome. Reminds me of a 2008+ white M3 coupe.

Cheers for white tiguan owners, only been modding mine internally but once I hit stage 2 this december I am going to start on the exterior.

    Keep up the great work!
