Really like the black and white theme you have gone for.

Beautiful car mate! I'm a sucker for white. Haha I have done well!!

Coincidentally looking at the Lamin-X red tint for my tail lights. but the smoked ones are tempting too.

Did a 5 hour thorough wash on the car, dried, clay bar'ed the entire car (being a used vehicle, there were a lot of tress sap n insect marks... Pity I cldnt much to the stone chips).. And sealed the whole car. I was wrecked after but it pleased me to see the Tig clean n paint protected!!

Gonna also embark on Plasti-Dipping the front grill. Contemplating something 'different' in look but also thinking of blacking out that thin white piece below likes yours. So it was reaaaaally good to see another person doing before me so that I have a good look at it! Good thing abt Plasti-Dip is that if I didn't think it looks good enough I can peel it off!! Haha

I'm looking at a set of 19's also... Hmmm just waiting to finalize some bits and to save some coins for that to happen. Haha

Headlamps are temporarily held on Singapore now. So hopefully they will come back w me in March and I'll get them installed.

I read the entire thread and pained me to come to the part that she was keyed. Some ppl are just plain idiots. But glad to see that she's back in the pink!! ... Or rather, back in the WHITE of health!!! Hah

I read earlier that you PAINTED your own roof!?! Wow!! I was thinking of blacking out my roof as well but we Vinyl. Cos I was too afraid to paint it. I wasn't sure how to do it.. ie to spray everything evenly, etc... Just thinking out loud, after sealing the paint w Nanolex Paint Sealant which makes it hydrophobic, wld painting on top of a sealed paint be "impossible"?? Cld u enlighten us on ur experience on painting the roof?

Any other mods planned besides the coilovers?

Excellent photo w urself on the roof of ur Tig by the way!!! Lol!! Awesome!

Side note: good to see u here team_v!!

    Cheers!
Hi! Thanks for the thorough greeting
Congrats on the White Tiggy! I love the white look as well...Obviously..haha

For the roof.. Sorry for the confusion. I didn't actually paint the roof MYSELF, I had a local shop take care of that. I can imagine if I tried to do it myself it would turn into a nightmare

I also was thinking of vinyling my roof before I decided to paint it. Vinyl is a great option if you're not sure you want your roof to stay black FOREVER!! The only reason why I didn't do vinyl is because I figured if I was going to spend the money to get it vinyled with the possible chance of me wanting to take it off in the future, it just wouldn't be worth all the money spent. In the end, I love the look of the paint and i'm very satisfied with how it turned out.

I do have more plans for Tiggy in the near future, but you'll just have to wait and see. I can't give away my secrets yet

Thanks for the good words and good luck with your TIG!

Looks good, shame you can't get into the interior and paint the casings white.

Are they spun all the way down? My H&R's get installed Thursday, don't think I'll go that low but we'll see.

With it all the way down I think a low profile 18's would look damn good.

The ride is great! There's only a slight stiffness but barely noticeable. Still really smooth. I LOVE them and would definitely recommend them

So here's a quick story for those of you who might care....

Last night someone got into Tiggy and stole both my ipods, headphones, car charger, and ipod cable! So lame! BUT crazy thing is, no window was broken or anything. My car was definitely locked and as you know we have a keyless entry. Is there really some sort of technology out there where someone can crack the program and just unlock the car with no harm done?!

Well anyways, even though it sucks that things got stolen, i'm just glad there was no physical damage done!

First getting keyed, now this.. I must have some bad luck

First of all, since this is an older post, let me start by saying on customizing the Tig. Love the rack too (hey - you knew what you're getting into when you posted the pic).
I got keyed as well, but it was only about 6 inches and not deep so I fixed it with a Turtle wax repair kit. But that wasn't on my Tig, thank heavens, it was my 10 year old Benz.

Don't think of bad luck, stay positive. Enjoy the car, it's awesome. As far as the theft, is there any chance you didn't lock it? Any chance at all? These remotes are smarter than the average bear, even if they get "sniffed", the codes should roll to the next, making it really hard to replicate. And no punk kid would have access to this technology to rip off an iPod. I don't think so, anyway.

Sorry, but I have to ask - what's with the EU plate under you CA one? Don't look very appealing, especially since the car looks so clean.

Do you have any rubbing issues? I had to "trim" a little off of the inside of the stock flairs on the rear. I had a slight rub if I hit a nice dip in the road. Wisconsin roads suck. Got the alignment today so tomorrow I'm taking her for a "spirited" drive to see if I trimmed enough.

Hey! I'm conducting an audit of our Milwaukee office this week!

I know I locked my car, but even if I didn't, it locks by itself. So I dont know, its crazy!

And for the Euro plate. I have it there, cuz I like it But with that being said, I liked the look better before I had my vanity plate. Now I feel like there's too much lettering going on.

Any way someone could have gotten the key code and had a dupe made? Are you the original owner? Always had it serviced at a place you can trust?

Kinda interesting choice of stuff to swipe. Were those the only valuables that weren't built in?

People suck sometimes, but I guess it's better than being keyed again.

I bought the car used, pre certified, and i've always taken it to the dealer when I needed stuff done. Its crazy to think that someone might have had a duplicate key made!

Yes, those were the only things worth value. Thankfully there wasn't anything more expensive in there, but I guess that's what insurance is for!
